Like I said before, Joshua has beaten no legit champion for ANY of his belts......... him beating the top 10 means absolutely nothing to me. (he is expected to).
There is no mandate that a HW champ must fight in the US. AJ can fight anywhere of his choice, he has worked his way through that merit.
If beaten stirvene is what is a legit HW champ.
    Goof luck.
Facts don't lie.... AJ has beating two world champs and have been in two unifications and title defences.
Tell me any other current champ who have achieved that.
    Let me help you, NON.

Thats cos he abandoned it in this fight. I think he really went in there with the mindset that he was going to have to KO AJ to get the win. It was strange all round from Kubrat, you'd have thought he was on something too. I mean shouting and smiling while being beat up etc

      • The 8th round was 10-9 for Pulev according scorecards, with 8 against 6 clean punches in Pulev's favour.
        But...that horrible defence decided everything.
Meanwhile, Hughie Fury asked Pulev for a second match next summer (according Bulgarian media) after Pulev beat him in october 2018.

Povetkin - don't need to explain this one.
Whyte - constantly over his lead foot leaving himself wide open to uppercuts and is obviously chinny
Ortiz - never rated him, Wlad would do a number on him
Ruiz - Slow plodder, can't cut off the ring only one who actually really has a decent chance against Wlad because he's explosive out of clinches e.g Hanks KO
Parker - Another guy I don't rate, he has decent hand speed but he'll try and box and Wlad is the superior boxer, Parker lacks the killer instinct to go after him.
Hunter - he's a wild card he may catch him cold but given his mediocre performance against Povetkin I don't see it.
Rivas - To small will get leant on and beat up and stopped late.
Pulev - Don't need to explain this one either.
Interesting list. How many of those have Fury and Wilder beaten compared to AJ? How come apart from Klitschko and Wilder (who many say is a bum with a right hand), Fury’s entire record is complete bums? How come he hasn’t made a single defence?

Not sure how people can knock AJ’s record so far when he’s fought more high ranked fighters than those two put together.

          • I finally had a chance to watch the fight. I thought Joshua looked really good to be honest. He did what he had to do & he was much more aggressive. He mixed up his attack really well. There was lots of stiff jabs & rights. He was throwing to the body but man was he landing those uppercuts at will. One flurry he hit Pulev with 4 straight uppercuts in a row. I thought it was over in the 3rd but that frigging ref got in the way & gave Pulev too much time to recover & he made it to the bell. Pulev got himself back into the fight in rounds 6-8. He landed a few big rights that made Joshua grab but other than that it was really all Joshua. Pulev showed a good chin but he is 39 & really lacks the power needed to stand in the pocket & slug it out with big punchers. He is too brave for his own good. He reminds me of one of my all time favourites Francois Botha in his prime. Would stand in the middle of the ring & slug it out with Tyson, Lennox & Klitschko. He simply did not have the fire power to stand there & exchange with those big punchers. Pulev is in the exact same boat. It's tough to win a gun fight when you have a potato gun & your opponent has a bazooka. I am pretty sure any future opponent of Pulev saw how easy he was to hit with an uppercut. I say Wilder, Whyte & Povetkin would all take him out. I have no doubt Fury would beat him. Actually at this point I'm not sure Pulev beats anyone in the top 10. That was a solid win for Joshua & I think that ends Pulev's aspirations of becoming a world champion. I would still like to see him fight a few more times but only against top 25 guys. No more fighting the Rydell Bookers & old washed guys like Sam Peter. In 6 years since he lost to Klitschko he has had 9 fights. Leading up to Joshua only 2 were top 25. In 6 years he had 2 credible opponents. Chisora & Hughie. Kevin Johnson was also a decent win because Kingpin actually fought back in those days but for the most part he fought weak opposition. I like Pulev but I always felt his lack of power would be his downfall due to his style of fighting.

Hughie actually said he wants both Povetkin & Pulev rematches. I didn't hear him say Parker though...

Joshua hasn't beaten a legit champion for his belts...... that doesn't mean he has not proven himself as a champion by beating the fringe-contenders and ex-champions.

Joshua is definitely top 3 to me....... I just obviously think Fury is the top dog anywhere in the world on any day.

Joshua is unproven fighting in enemy territory....... and against reigning and legit champions.

Beat Fury, Beat Wilder and rematch Ruiz in the US and win and he's an ATG.

The reality is he won't rematch Ruiz in the US, avoid Wilder and get beaten twice in a row by Fury and retire.

                    Lol...
Yet hr is the only unified champ in the building.
                    Good luck to convincing yourself..cheers.

I don't need to convince myself of anything, all I stated were factual and based in reality.

                      Truth hurts it seems.

WBC, Ring, Lineal and numero 1 is Tyson Fury, not your unified champ who got battered just last year and lost in embarrassing fashion.

Regaining the belts against an obese midget and beating Pulev really means nothing to me.

You guys must be desperate for Joshua to beat Fury........ who knows how he will do against a young, hungry 6'9, 275+lb boxer like Fury in his first fight against a real champion.

Hopefully the first fight is in the US, as Joshua has a lot of mental baggage there.
