Sometimes it’s disrespectful to eat around the pro when they’re in strict diets so you have to blast it away from you in a negative manner. It’s tempting. That’s normal.

Leading up to a weight cut, drink a ton of water, eat loads of fibre eg veg and salad, and day before weigh in drink just black coffee and carbs, and if needed take some laxative too

No... drink excess water leading up to, stop drinking fluids the night before. Only sip water when needed, until you weigh in.

Dandelion root supplement the full week before, eat loads of asparagus that week also (natural diuretics )

Soon as you weigh in, get as much fluids back into your self as comfortable, plenty carbs etc.

If your struggling with a few lbs, hot baths and saunas all night.

Bodybuilder, the process is still the same either way...

This doesn’t work miracles, you shouldn’t be looking to loose 10lbs or something daft like that.

Disagree - Not the night before, stop drinking water about mid day or full day before weigh in, agree with water sipping if needed but should he enough water in system from the 4 weeks before.

The veg and salads will sit on the stomach so that needs to stop the day before too, need to poop it all out.

Carbs important as energy will be sapped and unable to compete on the day and actually helps soak up and remove any excess water.

Laxative and if can’t shed water black coffee is important.

The way I did it was to have my last drink at around 6pm, after that nothing but tiny sips to wet the mouth.

Drinking coffee is just additional fluid and will keep you up all night. We used to sip whiskey/brandy at night to replace the water for additional diuretic properties, that’s no good for a boxer tho.

For us the weigh ins were generally around 11am ish, you want a good drying out period so you’d adjust that depending on the time you weigh in.

For a boxer light meals, that are easily digestible only when hungry during that time. Make up for it the next day.
