Have you ever cut weight before? How? How much? Describe the ritual. How did you replenish your weight after?
How many people know how to cut weight?

Everyone know with something called Google?
Leading up to a weight cut, drink a ton of water, eat loads of fibre eg veg and salad, and day before weigh in drink just black coffee and carbs, and if needed take some laxative too -
How come nobody mentioned the sauna? And if you're trying to make weight isn't it he'll? I understand you need to drink a lot of water during the process. Mosley said he was pissed off that Floyd made him piss test in training while he was complaint that he was being forced to consume too much water in order to piss.Comment

You are confused, and this should be asked in the nutrition section.
You’re also giving premise as to a professional elite status preparation?
To put in perspective, if you’re a gym rat and respect the weight grind to stay at a class, you have to obey the nutritional diet.
I recommend following Oscar Valdez. He is one of the few wh posts his daily boxing grind. He posts pictures of all his meals and workouts. Now if Oscar were to eat a Snickers Bar that one day of training is DISRESPECTEDLY lost.
I can tell you the balance or observation is more apparent in your late 30’s.
This is why many fans lose respect to boxers whom BLOW UP in between fights or drink alcohol.
Many boxers whom choose to milk a class for a long time calibrate their tip top form for a 10lb+ drain on fight week. Some guys even more. The UFC world would easily do 20lbs on the regular. It’s also because many UFC “stars” don’t have that discipline grind like boxers whom been training since teen hood. Look at Ronda Rhousey draining 25lbs because she was just a commercial product like Conor duping fans at early weight cuts and fighting at lower weights to build him up. Conor McGregor had some of the most gaunt looking drains in combat sports.Comment

Billy Joe Saunders has the worst discipline in boxing. That dude walk around chubby in jumper suits. He was like 210lbs in the Avandtil pressers, just a ridiculous beer gut. He was even being laughed at in that presser as being a Heavyweight.
For the average guy to stay in shape is already difficult, so u must wonder how BJS achieved the scales in preparation for how he ballooned up while drinking alcohol.
Heavyweights have more ideal weight management. Their goal is to assure 12 rounds for whatever diet they are used to.Comment

Responsible boxers have a strict nutrition outside of Heavyweight. The average person inquiring or even casual boxing hobbyists like myself don’t eat like elite pro responsible boxers.
I mean sure many stars even have cheat days and hit a Carl Jr.’s, but many don’t. Mexicans have the best diets. Watch Jo Jo Diaz or Oscar Valdez, plates are always meats. Proteins don’t give “power” but it’s value adds to muscle or joint recovery. Mexicans eat a lot of soups too rich with bone broth that are great for ligament repair etc...
Gervonta Davis has had too many videos eating fast food it’s no wonder why he’s had trouble making weight or having that “beer gut.”Comment

Interesting man, I remember Anthony Dirrell was in training for the super 6 at super middleweight his boys were sitting around them eating tacos he was like get out of here with this stuff they're trying to watch fight video and Anthony didn't want any part of that watching his diet business as usualResponsible boxers have a strict nutrition outside of Heavyweight.
