Great boxer, power punching, durability, but also coming back from adversity...the fact Bowe, who I also rated very highly, wouldn't go near him...says all you need to know. Lewis fought

Lewis is the best heavyweight we've ever seen. I don’t see any heavyweight in history that can beat him.

Your comment literally doesn’t make sense. You don’t see any heavyweight in history that could beat him??? Wtf are u blind?

Vitali scared him into retirement. All time greats don’t run from challenges, Lewis straight up RETIRED rather than fight Vitali again.

Evander Holyfield had a draw with Lewis.

Ray Mercer had a draw with Lewis.

Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman knocked him out cold...
so let me get this straight... 2 mediocre fighters like McCall and Rahman on 2 separate occasions KO’D him...Cold.
But all time heavyweight legends and greats like Ali,Frazier,Foreman,Tyson,Joe Louis,Holmes,Klitschko, Liston etc couldn’t possibly do the same?

Gtfoh please. Lewis was a great fighter but had a glass chin and showed extreme vulnerability with mediocre fighters. To call him the greatest heavyweight, since u can’t see anyone beating him is comical.

Honestly I think Lewis is a bit overrated. Knocked out twice by B level HW's. Most felt he lost to Mercer (this is prime Lewis as well) had some luck on his side beating Vitali, a good win and draw over Holyfield, but he is not this unbeatable beast that Tyson Fury is.

There isn’t a fighter who is unbeatable, most with huge winning runs have been in poor eras etc.

For me Lewis is the most well rounded heavy of the lot, can box and can punch, big and athletic.
I would back him against anyone past or present.

His flaws were he was lazy at times and switched off in some rounds, as I said no one is perfect.

It was the softest fleshy version of Lenox, was a great fight. People seem to forget vitalis face was hanging off due to the heavy shots he took.

Yes. He was robbed in the first fight, but the second could easily have been a draw so I think it's a fair enough reflection of their two fights. Lewis 1 Draw 1.
