Plenty of people ranked Loma above Canelo on p4p lists. Pointing out these observations are incorrect is not ‘criticizing a great fighter’ as you put it, especially if people are using constructive critical thinking to make their arguments.

Disagreeing with the premature placement of a fighter on top of a p4p list shouldn’t be taken offensively. In fact, ranking Loma above proven greats is disrespectful to those great fighters and their achievements.
I doubt that Pac quote, could be wrong. Not once for the buildup that he say he will win in the Teo fight. Something about taking him into deep waters, punishing him, etc. But when asked who's going to win come fight night, he'd be like we'll see, I don't know, etc. Its just not his style but we all say ****** nonsense sometimes. Its the repetitive yapping and bragging that I don't like.

It is true, prior to 135 Loma was a lot more praised. But once he hit 135 it was obvious he's in a different beast. He said himself that 135 is difficult for him, and the punches really hurt. Who says that? I love that. Honesty is so beautiful.

I had Loma as #1 P4P over Canelo prior to the loss. But that doesn't mean that he was ever going to hit top 50 fighters of all time.

Anyways would you like to see a rematch? I would love to. Rounds 7-12 were just amazing to watch, the first half I thought I was going to die of boredom. I hope if a rematch happens Loma fights like he did the latter rounds.

VS Shakur at lets say 130? I have Loma winning for the next 2 years.

      Thanks for your response

I would definitely love to see it again, it was an intriguing fight and I'm curious to see how it plays out if Loma starts earlier. Hope a rematch happens.

Yeah, I'd pick Loma over Shakur for the time being. Shakur seems to acknowledge that it's a different fight to Teo-Loma but at the same time he's almost implying that he's just as dangerous a puncher as Teo which I disagree with but it's an interesting mix of styles. I doubt Shakur's power will be enough to deter Loma the same way Lopez was able to in the first half of their fight, I think Loma's experience will be the difference.

The trolls are still hurt that their Great Hype Hope from Europe got his behind whooped for 12 rounds by a kid with less than 20 fights. And this was the clown they were comparing to Floyd and Ali? The pain of that humbling experience still hasn't worn off and they are now in search of another Great Hype Hope. I thought Loma was going to "take Lopez to the bottom and drown him" and all of this other tough midget talk about what would happen to Teofimo if he ran his mouth in the Ukraine. Lopez should NEVER give this man a rematch. He does not deserve one.

If Stevenson feels that he’s ready for the next stage, he should call out the winner of Berchelt vs Valdez.

                  The truth

Stevenson said nothing but the truth. Loma was clearly scared of Teo's power and as a result fought with no heart. Loma is nothing more than a media creation who is easily marketed to white America. We knew he wasn't anything special and now I guess everyone can see this as well.

Then I expect him to fight Shakur.

The only question is will Loma be doing that as the 130 champion or if he loses, will he become essentially the Top Rank gatekeeper for younger guys at or near this weight.
Loma can't make 130. He'll stay put at lightweight. Maybe he should take some tune ups.
