Fight of the Year 2020 edition

It's early but let's stir the pot

    Fight of the Year
Jose Zepeda vs Ivan Baranchik. Knockdowns in every round followed by that hellacious knockout.

    Round of the Year
Wilder vs Fury round 3, that knockdown was the beginning of the end.

    Knockout of the Year
Povetkin vs Whyte. That knockout was out of nowhere, I remember having a delayed reaction to it.

    Fighter of the Year
Teofimo Lopez. He talked the talk and walked the walk.

Agree with you except the KO. Gotta give it to Tank with the LSC KO. Similar KO's, but Tank's was more impressive cuz LSC is more proven & prime & had never really been dealt with at all let alone like that. Was a surprise & shocking for that reason.

And respect to Jose. That was an insane fight & I'm rooting on him parlaying that into a bigger opportunity. And obviously respect & better luck in future fights too. He showed great heart for getting dropped & coming right back into it til the end. One of the best fights I've ever seen. Now I got a double feature for non-boxing fans to watch if they get interested in boxing, the double feature of Diego vs Jose Luis & Jose vs Ivan.
