I'm hoping for a bit of both this time around. I'm hoping he has found some middle ground where he can be a bit more forceful and aggressive while still staying safe as much as possible. It's called smart Boxing.

He clearly hasn't got the strongest chin but being aggressive to a certain extent, especially with his thudding power can subdue opposition better than just covering up and trying to back off. Sometimes you can be read and actually end up being easier to catch.

We will see at the weekend, either way I will remain a big Joshua fan.
People have given Joshua a lot of crap for the Ruiz rematch but he actually started out aggressively in that fight, which is how he cut Ruiz in the first couple of rounds.

After that there was a sequence where AJ went for it and nearly got caught again in an exchange.

From that point he smartly realized that even a fat Andy Ruiz has the handspeed advantage and that it was best to box his way to a decision instead of giving Andy a puncher's chance.

I expect Joshua to be more aggressive because Pulev is more of a plodder.

And Andy Ruiz didn't give himself the best chance to win in the fight of his life.

For all the crap AJ has received, at least he got in better shape and corrected his mistakes. Hopefully Andy will do the same going forward.

Andy Ruiz is just a fat loser and a coward.
What does that say about AJ?

Hopefully for him, not. He's way better and his fights are more fun when he's not fighting scared (obviously).

People only said that about Andy Ruiz after he lost the rematch. After the first fight he was a talented guy with fast hands and weight issues who finally put it all together to pull off the upset.

We all know that narratives change with the wind and you can always create one to hype a fighter up or bash him.

If you simply don't like AJ then just say so. It's ok.

Nobody ever said any of that you lying Brit clown.

The whole world clowned AJ for losing to a guy considered by most experts to be worse than Butterbean.

You Brits are the ones trying to change the narrative.

                  Ok a few things:

                  1. I'm not British

                  2. Andy Ruiz had been rated in the Ring magazine top-10 prior to fighting AJ, plus he had already had a title fight that could have gone either way against Joseph Parker. Ruiz winning was definitely an upset but nobody thought he was worse than Butterbean. What titles did Butterbean ever fight for besides tough man contests? Exactly

                  3. The fact that you responded with insults and smiley faces instead of facts shows me how much you actually know about boxing.

                  Have a great day

                    1. Yes you are you lying brit.

                    2. Prime Butterbean knocks out AJ and Ruiz at the same time.

                    3. The fact that you have to make up lies shows how little you actually know about boxing. And that you are a coward.
