I'm not sure, I'm a big AJ fan yet I saw the safety at all costs strategy against Ruiz in the rematch.

I'm hoping for a bit of both this time around. I'm hoping he has found some middle ground where he can be a bit more forceful and aggressive while still staying safe as much as possible. It's called smart Boxing.

He clearly hasn't got the strongest chin but being aggressive to a certain extent, especially with his thudding power can subdue opposition better than just covering up and trying to back off. Sometimes you can be read and actually end up being easier to catch.

We will see at the weekend, either way I will remain a big Joshua fan.

He’s never ran yet so no reason to think he will now.

Against Ruiz in the second fight Joshua threw 373 punches in total, 270 jabs and 103 power punches.

As a comparison fury threw 371 vs Klitschko with Klitschko throwing 231 at fury.

He barely commited to any punches against ruiz in the 2nd bout is what most people are saying he pulled half his punches with a safety first strategy ,people want to see him stepping in ans getting someone out of the to build the fury match up and make it at least look like he will have some chance because running and trying to outbox fury is career suicide he needs to get stuck in

I don’t disagree that he boxed - but there is a very clear difference between running and boxing.

Running scared is far from the case, he boxed very well. Let’s not forget that many called for him to retire if he lost, many said he shouldn’t have been doing the rematch at all.

That he went in an basically did a 12-0 (potentially the odd round you could’ve given Ruiz) shut down by winning comfortably shouldn’t be underestimated.

It actually for me brings a completely different aspect to fury AJ fight , can fury simply outbox and move around Joshua, I personally don’t think he would be able to because AJ is a far better boxer than people give him credit - he didn’t win gold Olympic for nothing.

Many disagree on here but I put Joshua favourite against fury.

Anthony Joshua will not steamroll him, he will systematically attempt to break him down 'Slowly cranking the pressure up as the rounds go by etc'.

I think he would take his time to try and establish his jab, he cannot do a jab and grab doe. You not going to run through Pulev a guy that is known for having a big jab himself.

Joshua isn't really a fighting man doe. Contrast how he is compared to the warriors of old.
