Imagine asking Floyd,"What could you have done better as a boxer?"

I would love to here the answer (even as short as it would be)

    I'll do you one better.

Ask Floyd fans the question and wait to never get an answer because Floyd couldn't have done anything better because he was perfect. No flaws. Uncritisizable. The best.

He made the sport. He cares so much about PEDs. He always fought the best. Boxing is nothing without Floyd Mayweather.

Objectively there wasn't much Floyd could've done better. Nobody fights them all but he fought most of the available best.

If one were to ask Floyd though they would get his typical, "Floyd Mayweather fights for Floyd Mayweather and Floyd retired with all his faculties intact and his pockets full".

Floyd is definitely the most financially successful/GOAT boxer though. Name another guy who can fight a japanese MMA boxer for almost $10m? The Paul fight will likely net him similar income...brilliant

You're as bad as those fans though. Any fighter resume can be cherry picked but, for the most part, Floyd, Manny, Canelo, DLH...these guys fought most of the best available at the best times.

You can criticize the Danny Garcia's of the world because they have actively worked to avoid real challenges, but Floyd/Manny/Cotto/DLH/Canelo...these guys always fought a top challenger...might not have been the ONE YOU wanted but they always fought one. ATGs

I think Floyd could have taken up modern training and nutrition earlier in his career. He did later on as he got older to help him recover.

Garcia fought Khan and Mattysse at 140. AS a WW he's fought Thurman, Porter and Spence. That's 5 top guys in their prime. Not too shabby from where I sit.

Probably punch harder or work the body more. Not saying he was considerably lacking either but neither were key attributes for him.

If you asked him he’d probably go full egomaniac mode and say: “Y’all never give me no damn credit, y’all never give me a fair shake, you people don’t know sh** about boxing, whichever way you wanna cut, slice it or dice it there’s only one Floyd Money Mayweather”.

Probably the dumbest question to ask Floyd.

He'd just get ticked and complain about how he never gets his props etc.

You group all those guys together in hopes that one of those guys "is my guy" so my critisms won't ring loud but jokes on you because all those guys all have the same legit critisms.

You think I critize Floyd because I'm a big Pac fan? Laugh my ****ing ass off. How about Canelo? Good try no way. Ya see. I can critize everyone because I'm not some loser fan boy.

Khan and Matthyse wins have aged very poorly havent they ?

Garcia lost every meaningful fight at WW...and he LOST to Herrera in the fight after Matthyse at 140...which is why he dug up Rod Salka...Rod who? Yeah we hadn't heard that name before or since...
