Would Big George have been better in his comeback with better sports science?

Mike Tyson was able to get back to his fighting shape and lose 100 lbs for an exhibition at 53.

George Foreman never got back to his prime fighting weight in his comeback and was carrying a lot of excess fat on his body. Despite that he still won a title.

An athlete performing well in their 40s now isn't as unheard of as it was 25-30 years ago.

Imagine a more experienced George Foreman like we got but in tip-top shape? Could he have truly run through the 90s?

The only thing that could have helped Big George would have been the lean mean grilling machine.

He went the distance with Holyfield, Morrison, and Briggs and beat Moorer. What more do you want out of him? I don't think any amount of dieting or exercise was going to help him overcome Holyfield in that fight.

These guys today aren't better in older age due to sports technology, they are better because they start fighting twice a year in their 20s. By the time they are 40, they have about 42 fights hahaha. So these guys look fresher because they fight mandatories for a bulk of their prime twice a year.

No, boxing is primarily a mental sport.

George always was the most powerful man to ever step foot in the sport, but he was fried mentally after Ali.

Him retiring, finding God, serving his community, and humbling himself is what gave him what he needed.

If he came back today, they would've loaded him with PEDs and had him weight training and he would've torn his shoulder off the bone at some point
