The fear topic was your mention...I disputed it, knowingly well, regardless the level within combat sports, as I'm listening and watching Spence discuss T Crawford, it's obvious Spence has some type of fear for facing TC. The good chance of Spence losing titles, getting beat up, losing his WW status, the fear is there. I understand with your macho mentality, you don't see it or get it.

Exaclty...well put.At least this time they admit they lost the fight. I’m tired of seeing him get these opportunities and not leave it all in the ring.
I don’t want to call Danny a bully, but he has no problem initiating the action and letting his hands go against the Salkas of this world, not so much at top level. So it’s not that he can’t let his hands go, he just won’t.Comment

Very easy, because I understand business principles. If you’re asking for $10m when your PPV numbers are shocking/non-existent and you can’t sell out a stadium beyond your home town, while happily picking up $1m checks fighting nobodies, then you’re overestimating your worth. If you’ve turned down $100m to fight the biggest name in your division and unify all the belts, only to then fight someone with no belt for less money who’s also with a different promoter, then you’ve ducked. I really don’t get the games and semantics you’re playing here.As a fan with ZERO clue about the amount of revenue generated from these fights how are you in position to determine what a fighters worth is to pass judgement that they are asking for more than they are worth? Because some promoter who doesn’t take punches said so?
Funny you mentioned Lopez because he certainly made sure he maximized his paycheck for the Loma fight. He beat Loma and promptly let everyone know that he wasn’t chasing belts next but looking for a big fight. It’s prize fighting not bragging rights fighting. But if it were up to you, the networks and promoters would continue to make grossly more than the fighters while the fighters seek to impress a fan base that will move on to the next big thing the second they lose.
I don’t give a s**t about any promoter - let fighters promote themselves for all I care. And you’re wrong - fans don’t care if a boxer loses. UFC being a case in point where almost all fighters have lost at least once. Look at Pac and how many fights he has lost, yet he’s probably the most loved fighter in boxing. AJ got destroyed by Ruiz, yet his rematch set UK PPV records. Even yourself, you just saw Wilder beat half to death and make insane excuses, yet you still ride for him.
People like you who have an obsession with glossy records and fighters protecting that ‘0’ are killing boxing.Comment

I think you misconstrue caution with fear. Maybe it’s due to your own misplaced macho mentality. Every fighter has been beat up before. It’s part of the process. Fear of getting beaten up never enters the equation. As I said before, just because YOU believe TC wins doesn’t mean Spence thinks the same. Yet to make yourself feel better and to feed some weird desire to assign fear to men who do things you only do in video games, you ASSume that a fighter is scared when a fight doesn’t happen and he doesn’t run to the media and wax poetic about how it’s all he wants and blame here blame there. The fear topic was your mention...I disputed it, knowingly well, regardless the level within combat sports, as I'm listening and watching Spence discuss T Crawford, it's obvious Spence has some type of fear for facing TC. Two most popular words amongst you stans that wanna feel like your opinion is somehow fact or majority “obvious” and “clearly”.
Hopefully Manny and Spence link up in Dallas for big money and an all action affair while TC does something to build his name outside hardcore fans such that the demand for the fight, the financials, and the schedules of the two best Welters align.Comment

If you were in the room or part of negotiations to hear such demands then making such a judgement would be fair game. But your NOT so that’s that.Very easy, because I understand business principles. Further your presumption of my opinion on Wilder and my opinion on records is yet another example of posters with nothing substantive to say so they assume and argue against there assumptions.
Let’s be clear here so you can stfu, I don’t follow individual fighter records, just their fighting style. Understanding how today’s fights move and not having a problem with it doesn’t make it a preference. I guess my critical thinking is a bit more evolved than some of you. Lastly, Wilder as with you, should just stfu and take his L. If your responses require mental gymnastics like yours and his, they are best kept inside or only spoken to ya dog who loves you cuz you feed him/her.Comment

By indicating Spence is cautious and not fearful of a fight with TC, thank you, you clarified my point... You really should learn the differences between the 2 words, cautious vs fearful, then you'll understand the true reason behind Spence avoiding TC..I think you misconstrue caution with fear.
