People crack me up. So Joshua took Klitschko's best shot and got up and he has a weak chin. Gimme a break. He got hit on the side of the head and lost his balance completely. Weak chin my ass.

Maybe he should run like Ali did his whole career, you know, because it's not boxing it's running.

"running" is part of boxing. you are allowed were always allowed to run around the ring that is why there is a ring. running is a huge part of the sport's training. amateur wrestling and bare knuckle boxing have rules that maintain contact at all times. different sports maybe you would like those better. aj landed plenty of punches on ruiz and ali landed more punches than anybody on everybody. that is the game. great boxers like frazier marciano, chavez sr foreman cutoff the ring on the "runners" also part of the game. PS i was adamantly for ruiz in that fight but he did not do what he needed to do for whatever the reason. it is NOT a bar fight brawl.

It seems like boxing fans know only 2 types of chin: granite and weak. Nothing in between. AJ took a very good shot from Klitschko and got up. The placement of the shot Ruiz placed on him was perfect - even though it didn't keep him down, it was enough to cloud AJ's mind and affect his reflexes. Ruiz is heavy and has fast hands - that's a dangerous combination for anyone. No, AJ, doesn't have Vitali Klitschko's, GGG or Hagle's chin, but its good enough to carry on. Which makes it average or normal, if you will, but I see no evidence to suggest that's its weak. Amir Khan's chin is weak. Its not all or nothing, you know.

Exactly, I don’t know why so many people fail to realize this. If your opponent has only one way to win, you’re supposed to take it away. Not play into it just to prove a point.

Let’s flip it: Should Pulev look to box from the outside just to prove a point?

Interested to see how Joshua handles Pulev’s jab... it’s a solid weapon. If Joshua nullifies that jab it could signal the Fury fight to be more competitive.

Wlad launched left hooks at Pulev and he couldn’t do anything against them. Not sure if Pulev has overcome that weakness

It might seem a strange distinction, but nullifying a solid jab vs knocking someone out in spite of it has a lot of significance for a potential Fury fight

To me it was the most irritating match ever, making me want someone to know him out in 1 round.

IMO, Kubrat Pulev will be no match for Anthony Joshua. The first time Pulev fought a top heavyweight, he got knocked out in the 5th. That too was against a 38 year old Wlad. After that he fought few prospects and won on points, one being a split decision against Dereck Chisora. Pulev is 6 months sigh of 40. Joshua will send him for showers very early.
