Yes but there's a reason he couldnt let his hands go...would have opened him up to Spence's offense. Garcia is only aggressive against lower level fighters with less power. The bottom line is he just isn't good enough for the top welterweights and if he's gunshy against THEM, he'd freeze up HARD at junior middle.

Danny won't prosper with Angel any longer for 2-3 Danny has visible disgust with the man they must separate...

As a hardcore Garcia fan I truly believe he resents his pops handprint on his fame post Khan, he was pretty much lined up to face floyd Mayweather but his pops disregarded the fight lacking confidence in a then prime swift skillset, maybe he could've bested what chino did...danny went on to lose to lesser fighters anyway, now danny has to grind harder to keep his family comfortable when they could've been set by now

Danny couldn`t do more, spence controlled the fight with his jab. Danny actually didn`t have a chance to hurt Spence by no look hooks.

He should have gave sone instructions. Spence, like the rest of his peers, has holes in his game waiting to be exploited. I don’t know how a so called “professional trainer” didn’t pick up on what he was doing Saturday. An uppercut straight up the middle was there in the clinches.

That's correct, and I agree with you 100%. His team should have worked on his work rate along time ago. I don't know if you saw the video's leading up to their fight. His father Angel, kept on saying that they were working on power. When I heard that I thought what a mistake, Danny's going be tight going into that fight. Which would only cause him to throw fewer punches necessary to catch Spence enough to win their fight. His father doesn't know what he's doing, or talking about, even thought it's Danny's fault for not knowing when to turn it up in his fights.

Anyone of the elite trainers that he can get along with, would be better than who he has now.

I have said this a while back. Danny needs to add or have a different trainer. Angel cannot improve Danny that continues to loose because of inactivity.

Also Angel was not providing any constructive instructions at the corner. He was telling Danny what he has to do but did not tell him how or what he was seeing.

Definitely time to employ a new voice in the corner. At the world level, Angel just doesn't possess the skills or intangibles to carry Danny any further. Danny looks good when the other fighter cooperates and comes to him. Then he unleashes his counters which is the only punch he throws that you cannot see or anticipate. If you keep him at bay or come in with a strong jab or you box him, he pretty much becomes ordinary. Thurman could have actually beat him easy, but Thurman was going for KO and kept coming to Danny hence some success he had. Porter, as weird as it sounds, boxed him and he couldn't do much. Spence did not engage him but boxed and used his jab on the way in to tag him at will. His rhythm is also very predictable and world class fighters can pick up on that especially when he's loading those looping right hands. 0-3 at the top level against your contemporaries is just not good.

Beyond missing out on the payday, his Pops actually did him a favor in their matchup cos Danny would have been embarrassed in that fight. Danny will be waiting for all 12 rounds to counter Floyd while Floyd outpoints him to a wide unanimous decision. Chino applied pressure and let his hands and elbows go. That is not Danny.

That is Agel for you. He never boxed but he lives through his son just as Teo Lopez's father does.
