They're probably the type who hate on the younger generation too.

I have the same mentality with football(soccer). I miss the 90s/early 00s era..and the current era with soft players and overhyped baboons like pogba, i cba with it.
I think Pogba is grossly overrated. I also think Ronaldo and Messi are overrated due to the era they played. And I actually stopped watching football for about 5 yrs and switched to boxing and American sports. However, that doesn’t mean I would pay to watch washed up Brazilian Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaka, Henry, Zidane, Figo, Rui Costa, Roberto Carlos, Crespo, Drogba, Rivaldo, Eto, Shevchenko, Giggs, Scholes, Thuram, Makelele, Ayala Nesta, Zanetti, et al. We can even go further to Gullit, Overmars, Bergkamp, Cantona, Romario, Cafu, Batistuta, Kluivert, Seedorf, Edgar Davids, et al.

For the love of the sport - you need to shun the circus and celebrate the sport in its pure form.

LMAOOO. Wilder couldn’t even break 100k in his fight against Ortiz.

LMAO. Wilder fans are crawling out of their holes. Wilder is a bum and hypejob...and he has NEVER been a draw.

So Jones vs Tyson sold 1.6 million PPV’s at $49.99 per PPV, people thought the whole card was entertaining. It created international headlines. It was two 50+ year old, retired HoF boxers, a famous Youtuber vs former NBA player, and Badou Jack vs an unknown guy. On top of that, it was advertised that they weren’t gonna go hard and that there will be no winner in the Jones-Tyson fight. This still sold 1.6 million.

This is as opposed to the amazing fights like Crawford vs Khan for $75 dollars. Fights where little to no fans were intrigued about what’s going to happen.

So boxing is actually killing itself. Fans will buy what is interesting to them. If fans find 55 year Tyson vs 53 year Jones, and Jake Paul vs Nate Robinson, two non-boxers, more interesting and worth their money than these other “real” boxers, then I guess these real boxers need to take a long hard look at themselves and go back to the drawing board and figure out how they can make fans more interested in them.

Without Tyson vs Jones/Paul vs Robinson, with Snoop Dogg as one of the commentators, none of the 1.6 million fans would all of a sudden give a crap about Usyk vs Chisora or Naoya Inoue vs Jason Maloney or Shawn Porter vs Sebastion Formella, or Gary Russell Jr vs Tugstsogt Nyambayar, etc.

It’s not the buyers fault. It’s the sellers fault. It’s time to stop blaming those who sell tickets and PPV’s and start thinking about what these bums who are being outsold by Jake Paul need to start doing to make themselves seen more.

Fury-Wallin Generates Nearly $1 Million From 3,577 Tickets Sold
With his second appearance in Las Vegas proving far more dramatic than his previous trip, perhaps the third time will be a charm as it relates to Tyson Fury’s box office appeal. The unbeaten and outspoken heavyweight from England survived a hellacious cut over his right eye and a stiff challenge from lefthanded Swedish contender Otto Wallin to emerge victorious in a unanimous decision win. Their Sept. 14 headliner at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada produced high drama in the ring, along with $999,722.50 at the live gate.

So what .what’s that’s got to do with it lol
It’s embarrassing and as you claim to be a true boxing fan i
                  Expect more.
Let’s put this into perspective the top fighters in America who sell the most ppvs are now Tyson , Jones and this YouTube cretin...that is how low boxing has fallen now in the states.
Nothing to be proud coming from a nation that gave us such massive fights and stars in the past.
                  It’s not good

watching many of them twice a week, years on end, would have that effect

for me it isnt a circus if 2 boxers have genuine beef and wantt o settle a score...if they go into bare knuckle boxing or mma format. that would be massive.
none of that mma vs boxing circus act.
