Comments Thread For: Tyson-Jones Exhibition Expected To Yield Over 1.6M PPV Buys, $80M For Triller

Mike Tyson's exhibition versus Roy Jones Jr. garnered over 1.6 million pay-per-view buys, Triller owner Ryan Kavanaugh told BoxingScene.com. Triller reportedly paid $50 million to land the rights to the fight and charged viewers $50 to order the event. If the 1.6 million number holds, the TikTok rival and social platform will have made $80,000,000 for their pilot program and launch into their live events business.

And that was with so many people streaming the fight on Facebook, using FaceTime and whatever other illegal means. If they had the restrictions of the bigger outlets, it would’ve possibly sold more.

Look at these 2 geezers posing with the WBC geriatric participation belts

The WBC truly is the scum of the earth in every way shape & form. They gave AmereCon a pearl belt for beating some bellhop ffs, they literally are about to start printing them out like visa cards so fighters can get them a few days after they lose theirs(they even gave that kunt youtube queef a belt ffs)

Impressive numbers but a sad indictment of boxing today. The sport is crying out for a modern day superstar.

I wonder if Hearn has been on the phone to Tyson 😆

Tyson v Joshua exhibition coming in 2021, the biggest money making match in boxing.

Amazing figures, the fifty something year old legends got the most views this year, and the most since Mayweather-McGregor. Not even Canelo and Fury get these numbers now.

i hope the fighters are getting a decent percentage of these ppv sales. Happy that Roy finally got paid, he's been chasing a big payday for years and got brutally KOed numerous times on the way.
