And gives him more to cling to when demanding more than 50/50 split.
I don't expect him to fight a bunch of leftovers but jesus fight somebodyComment

PBC Spence fans just seem to be naming lots of PBC fighters Crawford should be fighting, except Eroll. To help sell a fight?
Spence fans want to help sell a fight? Why do you care? Spence and Crawford are widely seen as number 1 and 2 in the division, which ever way around you want to put them. This fight needs to happen NEXT. No lining the path with other PBC fighters.
I like the sound of the Porter fight but it isn't imperative, Bud has just beat a guy who beat Porter. Thurman? Thurman is washed up. It just sounds to me that Spence, the PBC and the fans know Bud sparks Spence.Comment

Everyone should be pushing for this fight. Best fight to be made in boxing right now with two elite fighters. If either gets Pacquiao? Fine, but they need to rumble next year, preferably in the first half of 2021.Comment

He was ranked #8 at 147 by The Ring. Problem with that is, that is an okay win for your first time at 147. Nobody really cared for bashed him much. Everyone expected to see opposition go up, not down. He took two fights against guys outside of the top 10 at 147, Khan and Benavidez. Then fought #8 ranked welterweight, Kavalioukas followed by another guy outside of the top 10, Kell Brook.
So far his MO in his 5 fights at 147 is to fight lower tier top WW’s or welters outside of the top 10.
I can see him fighting Mikey Garcia next. Great fight right? Mikey is ranked #10 at 147 for being 1-1 at 147. Or maybe even #9 ranked Lipinets. Hell we might even get lucky and he will go out of his comfort zone and fight#7 ranked Ugas who isn’t much of a threat. But idk #7? Seems like a big leap for the 33 year old. Idk if he would step up to the 7th best WW. Seems like a tall order for him.Comment

TBRB placed him there disregarding the nature of the win, which was controversial. The Ring takes controversies into consideration when ranking fighters. They rewarded Horn with the #8 spot because he did beat Pacquiao, but controversially. Many thought Pacquiao was robbed and that Horn got beat up bad.TBRB welterweight rankings May 2018 (Crawford/Horn was a few weeks later)
