Very impressive performance imo. Spence stamina looked great. Next logical fight is Crawford, there's not dancing around to another opponent. Media has to stop being so soft on Spence on the topic of Crawford. They can always do a two fight agreement; if both fighters win their next fight, they fight each other - and put that out to the media to promote the event more.

Spence looked good but also didn't look as sharp as he was pre-crash, which is understandable. This was a good fight for him to re-sharpen his blade.
The thing with Garcia is that he wasn't fighting to win though. In these big fights, he looks like he is trying prevent mistakes and goes on the offensive when the danger is gone. Which isn't good enough to win big fights. You can't box like that against this level of opponent.
But overall it was a good boxing match. I hope Spence can get the Pacquiao fight. Because it's the right kind of opponent to get him more active. Spence is a top level boxer but I can't help but feel he starts slow and coasts at times. Against Porter and Mikey, he did that. Here against Danny, he did the same but fair enough to him, it's his first real match since his absence.
Cheers to Spence though, and Danny. Top class stuff. I'd like to see Spence sharper in the next one, with better punch selection and not so much anxiety. Hopefully against Pacquiao. #StrapSeason.Last edited by F l i c k e r; 12-06-2020, 11:21 AM.Comment

when I say passive, I’m talking about fighting at a high work rate. Thurman doesn’t do that.He looked good enough to win, but his age showed. Thurman isn't passive at all. He loads up and throws bombs quite a bit. A bad idea because Mannys speed gave him trouble. If Thurman works off the jab and picks his spots, he's a big problem. I think Pacquiao could hold his own vs any of the top guys. Depends on his motivation.Comment

I know but he despatched him with ease......Crawford doe what he has to do and wins with ease against who is put in the ring with him....Crawford would also beat the dog **** out of Danny Garcia so what’s your point.
Let’s stop talking about it and just make the fight it’s time to see who wins.
I’ll pick CrawfordComment

Do you want to see Crawford vs Spence or not?
Wanting to see Thurman fight Spence is just delaying that shit even longer.
The only way Thurman makes sense is if Crawford picks up the Pacquiao fight first.
Then by all means, Spence should take Thurman to the cleaners and then unify the division.Comment
