    True after all with more experience and honing off his craft will he be able to take it to the next level and brush up on some off his maneuvers/tactics in the ring...

    I don't know if it's true or not but Arthur may have injured one off his hands in this bout against Yarde so henceforth he did not connect as much with the right as he could have if it was not in the condition it was? just a thought

      He claimed his hand wasn't injured. He just couldn't throw it. Because of Yarde should rolling it and countering that. Anyways hopefully the rematch would happen. But he definitely needs to improve, as i think he gave Yarde too much respect.

        Regarding Yarde;

        I think his power is very overrated - Arthur took his best shots and seemed nothing more than a little buzzed.

        His arms / reach seem short to me, or maybe his stance is more squared - either way, his jab was constantly short.

        I don't get his shoulder roll defence - he is pretty flat footed and it doesn't really suit his physique, its almost like he is doing it because he wants to be like Mayweather etc. Weird.

        All the above considered, he is very limited and muddled when facing anything but journeymen and cans. I know that sounds over critical but the way he postures and talks makes him sound like he is an undefeated World Champion PPV fighter.

        You have to be critical if a fighter is making dumb claims without backing up his mouth.

        He is exactly the same personality and ego as other guys like O'Hara Davis and Eubank Jnr, they lose once they have to face competitive opposition.

          I did not get a chance to watch the fight and the prospect of sitting through it all later has been a bit daunting. Do you know where the whole "Arthur injured the hand in warm-ups and again in the fight," idea came from by chance? Just curious.

            I don’t know but he was honest at the post fight interview with Steve bunce. He claimed he couldn’t throw the right hand because of Yarde’s defence.

            You know the shoulder roll that he does? Arthur was very wary of throwing the right hand because Yarde would have blocked it with his shoulders and counter him all night.

            That’s why he told Pat in the middle rounds that he cannot throw the right hand. It was not because he injured it like we all thought.

              There was a reason why they didn’t want him facing anyone of his main domestic rivals. They built him up nicely in the market, Adidas global whatever etc

              He didn’t have a lot of amateur fights but you would think they would have progressed him with the normal route before throwing him in with Kovalev. I think that fight gave him a reality check, and he lost two family members to COVID this year too.

              He really needs to go sit down and be real with himself, in regards to his training, his built, his working environment, maybe bring someone else in to facilitate whatever Tunde is doing with him, instead of just screaming lions in the camp mid rounds.
