What can you say? Did Arthur land one meaningful punch? No. And the biased announcers were talking about he had hurt his right hand. No. he just couldn't land it. What a joke.Comment

If you're not scoring the fight how the hell can you say who won?
Website full of idiots
Let me educate you. In boxing, you have to land something called a punch
Backing up and throwing feints while landing 1 punch in 20 minutes doesn't win a fight.
Here's a tip. Please don't watch the Spence Garcia fight tonight. You won't have a clue what you're looking at
ThanksLast edited by GM Jay; 12-05-2020, 06:44 PM.Comment

I mean Yarde was literally chasing this dude while not even getting hit. How the hell does he lose that fight?
Only on an episode of the Twilight Zone, that's howComment

******* in the camp.
If Yarde had tried to fight instead of doing his cheap Mayweather impression he could have won that fight easily.Comment

But that's why he lost. He was chasing the guy around the ring instead of cutting him off.; Arthur circled to his left all night. If Yarde would have taken a step or two to his right he would have trapped Arthur in the corner and did some damageComment

Posing in your philly shell and feinting don't win you a fight either. Arthur landed a few decent right hands late. Yarde had like 1 good right hand per round in maybe three or four rounds until the late rally. There were probably like 10 meaningful punches the entire fight. Yarde just didn't do enough until way toooo late and was obivously out jabbed significantly.
Let me guess you thought Lewis Ritson dominated Miguel Vazquez too?Comment

True true. I just say that because there is always a natural style that every fighter reverts to when under pressure. Sometimes it doesn't change, but the fact that in the Kovalev fight, and in this one he went into the high guard pressed and got the most success both times says everything. He need a to drop the slick shoulder roll ****. He would honestly benefit from fighting like Golovkin because he has a great chin, and wouldn't fatigue from all the unnecessary movement
GGG makes the most of his physical attributes, but his style relies heavily on the fundamentals: jab, proper balance, cutting off the ring, etc. Yarde relies more on physical talent than skill, and he doesn't have the skill level to use the style he's enamored with. He needs a trainer who can break through his Mayweather illusion and rebuild him into something different.
If Yarde chooses to stay with Tunde, we have to place the blame completely on Yarde because it shows that he's content with his progress as a boxer.Last edited by kiaba360; 12-05-2020, 06:56 PM.Comment
