This is great for boxing. It would make others sit up and start making fights that we actually want. When youtubers seems to have found a gap in boxing. More power to them, let boxers complain all they want.

There is an automatic fallacy in what you wrote. How did Mike Tyson’s Exhibition numbers become the new set bar for whether boxing or anything else is doing well? Even if it’s sold more it is not the P & L line for a PPV. Even worst whether you like it or not Mike Tyson is still categorized as boxing so he still in some odd way reinforces my statement.

But while we are on it viewers signed up for the Nostalgia of when boxing was showcasing its best talent. The very issue keeping boxing from maximizing viewers.

What is happening is boxing promoters have decided if they can’t place their talent in with compelling matchups, they will tear down those showcasing top talent. This crab in the bucket mentality is keeping the fan base from growing because some people never see its current crop of top talent. Fighters like Canelo Alvarez, Deontae Wilder, Errol Spence, Gervonta Davis and Errol Spence are building viewing audiences. They would be even bigger with out the mass of insecure race based detractors trying to prevent growth.

So what’s interesting is the problem (you) is complaining about the impact of his own sabotage? Saying boxing used to be better then when top talent was being showcased but now it’s not as big because I am making sure top talent that looks like someone else won’t grow?

But even with your efforts to obstruct, matchups in boxing connected to top talent are still selling and they were doing even better prior to the pandemic. What UFC has is the best matchups. If we didn’t have pirate streaming we would see the viewership is just as high as it has ever been. Boxing is still popular it is just not optimized for profitability due to idiots like you. That’s the big difference.

Unfortunately several promoters and networks have decided to showcase talent that they do not feel confident matching aggressively. As such they create a buzz around “nothing really to see here” and get upset when no one cares.

As such casuals come to the table and witness bs. That creates a lasting feeling that boxing is not the same. That is making casuals long for the time when they could see explosive fighters in compelling matchups.

Hey bro PBC is doing well and it will be doing even better when the crabs have sold so many laws all of their credibility in the sport is gone. We already see internet media surpassing the lying boxing media establishment. The day is coming. Ask HBO Boxing, Goldenboy and DAZN North America. Good Day Sir!!!
