They are offering to pay Usyk to delay the fight just long enough for the winner to be declared undisputed and the next day drop the WBO as the winner would be in a two fight deal and can't defend so win / win for Usyk ... but ...

if Usyk says not good enough .. they fight without the WBO belt so not undisputed but ... ok

He can't prepare for Fury whilst training for Pulev, they are not the same in any way shape or form.

Of course his current preparation won't be enough, he'll need to tailor his sparring partners, technique and tactics to Fury before he is ready for Fury.
I'm sure they will all want to wait for a live audience before putting on the biggest event in British boxing history.

It'd be so quiet there you'd probably hear everything Fury yells out during the fight.

Wilder turned down the invite and used that caveat as an excuse.
How bad do you think he wants the fight if he don’t come?,” Hearn said. “Don’t give me all that, ‘All I wanna do is unify the division.’ Come. You’re getting paid. You’ve got business-class airfares, you’ve got a lovely hotel. It’s not like it’s a chore. This is your job. But he don’t wanna get mixed up with Dillian [Whyte] and Joshua. It’s all bull*****. He’s happy fighting those geezers. Watch who he fights next.”

Wilder did nothing but respond with lie of bodyguards and security stopping him . What a liar . Ha

Tyson Fury has never been a ticket seller in the UK or the US except for the Wilder 2 fight and then the PPV was disappointing considering it was massively pushed by ESPN and Fox even with adverts during the Super Bowl

There is also a SMALL problem called Usyk who is gonna cause problems pushing for his Mandatory, not sure he will step aside again. Hopefully the WBO allows the Unification fight to happen before Mandatory.

Be that as it may, yes I would because that sells fights and it pumps the true fan up, it makes buzz, face to face trash talk IS promotion.
My comment makes complete sense in the context of the message I responded to. I was talking about Wilder. It's very clear he wasn't interested in negotiating for an AJ fight. That being the case, why would Hearn have Wilder there? Just so he could build his reputation off AJ for a fight that wasn't going to happen?

The fact that Hearn wants Fury there should tell you that an AJ/Fury fight is being negotiated.

If Wilder v AJ was ever really being negotiated then they would have been ringside.

Or did you think that fights got made because the opponent challenged a fighter in the ring? No. The opponent challenges a fighter in the ring ONCE the fight is arranged. All part of the show.
