We've seen many fighters overdo it in their assessment of their skills. And after the accident, IMO that's what Spence has fallen prey to in taking on Swift as a comeback fight. Yes, Danny will have to be on his A game and be consistently more active however long the fight lasts... but as we all know, sparring and the actual fight are two different avenues entirely... so Spence could be in for more than he every expected. True, no one knows how he performs in a battle like this after nearly dying in a wreck... but what if one or two of the aspects of his game are off? I think Swift has a solid chance to take out Spence mid to late rounds... IF he can just stay busy and time Spence properly. This will indeed be one of the most intriguing fights we see this year.

Giving away the first few rounds, and counter punching isn't going to win this fight for him. He has to be active without being reckless, and better bring a full tank of gas to carry him through the contest. I do believe that Danny can win a hotly contested fight with Spence, before Spence starts to break down, and gets knocked out. If he's able to win Garcia will have begun to redeem his career, and Crawford, Porter, Thurman, await next. Now that's a murders row for you, but it's not beyond his reach, and capabilities. That's a way to close out a career, and leave a lasting legacy.
I do not think that is his style. Danny is a true counter puncher at best. Danny lost his two decisions bc of his inactivity and if this fight depends on high activity rate, then he will lose again. He however does throw big shots that can change fights, if he lands one and it effects Errol then tides can shift.

I think that Errol is not expecting to be knocked out. If he can avoid the devastating shot, then mathematically this is a relatively easy affair. Errol out throws every fighter he faces, Danny is out thrown by every fighter he faces. In the Spence camp’s view, as long as Errol avoids major punishment he should come out with an easy victory and Danny will allow him to get his punches off. It is no foregone conclusion that Spence won’t be clipped though.

Choosing to fight Danny Garcia, in his first fight after his horrific car crash is an enormous mistake. There is a minute chance that I can be wrong in my observation, and analysis. Yet, and still if I'm right Errol Spence can wind up getting seriously hurt in this fight. If he does then how can his trainer, and promoter explain allowing him to fight such a dangerous fighter upon his return to the ring. Their collective decisions could wind up haunting them for the rest of their lives. I truly hope that, that's not the way it turns out in the end.
I wouldn’t say it’s a minute chance, Spence is the clear betting favorite. It is actually likely that you’re wrong in your analysis.

Garcia has a chance if he let his hands go and has the gas to do it for 12 rds.
I thought you were trolling, until I saw the pictures and it’s right there WTF

Spence should bring a Floyd kinda defense to survive and protect that all screwed up chin all night. I had this fight 60/40 Spence before the accident, now it's more like the opposite, or 70/30.

Errol will never be the same.

That’s how Spence is and sound prior to his accident, I used to say that he reminded me of people who smoke weed and are spaced out. Honestly people are reading too much into this. He is PBC’s biggest name, coming back after his accident, they would not put him in with Garcia (Who hasn’t beaten anyone of note at 147) if they didn’t think he would win.

Danny isn't out-thrown by every fighter he faces, but outside of that you've made some good points. I just happen to give Swift a better chance at a W here than you do. He just has to bring it. And stay as active as he was in his best fights. That's all. Then he gives himself the best possible chance of beating odds.
