    Yes he does need to develop discipline out of the ring as a matter of urgency. He has a few years left at his maximum ability so he needs to be smart. A few more elite fights will be the difference between a solid career and a stand out one.

        I eat cakes every day but it doesn't effect my weight at all, in fact i eat what I like and pretty much remain the same weight. The key is not what you eat but the quantity. I mean if your gonna open a pack of mince pies and eat the lot then open another 3 or 4 packs and do the same then of course you will likely blow up in weight. Same with burgers etc.

        I get hungry I eat, but I don't eat till i feel sick or feel like a beached whale. I eat until i don't feel hungry. I eat three meals a day almost no veg or fruit and still fail to put on any weight.
        I don't eat any fast food though, no beer and no cigarettes. I eat basic meals nothing fancy very plain and simple.

            Being a pro boxer cutting weight is hard. You got the right idea. I don’t drink or smoke. I also don’t eat past 7pm. Maybe a fruit and tea afterwards if necessary. I can eat too, and I have a high metabolism, but I hit the gym almost every day.

            The context isn’t for a regular Joe and “dieting,” nutrition in boxing is easily affected with performance during training too. For example, I eat oatmeal every morning. One hard boiled egg. Before going to the gym I eat a dry bar of oats and a banana. I also drink at least one litter of water from morning before the gym as I force sweat. Do this routinely and you get the power you need to STAY at the weight you intend to hit. For example I’m always floating 190lbs and fit. But my goal in context is to hit 175. It’s not easy at all. Any mis calibration with diet like eating more bread or a piece of cake and it breaks a day off of work. Sugars are the worst. Carbs do give u power.

            Boxing and nutrition is really really difficult. Also sleeping early helps

            BJS openly drinks beer and overeats. That’s why he was taking stuff for years to shave off the weight. BJS is all hype. Just running around like a sparring match against Lemeieux. If Lemieux didn’t engage BJS wouldn’t either.

              Finally realising what we’ve all known for 10 yrs, you have to admire fury for just about nipping his decline in the bud before it was to late but this guy I’m not so sure ..
