Of course, then sanctioning bodies would not get their sanctioning fees, so we all know these crooked, crap organizations would never do that. Cash before standards, after all.Comment

There are reasons for tune up fights. I would not have been offended had Spence taken a tune up after his wreck to ensure everything was kosher with his new pieces parts. However, your point about sanctioning such as a crap fight is 100% solid. If some scrub is not in the top 15 or so rankings of a sanctioning body than a title should not be awarded to said scrub if he pulls the upset.

Sorry, but IMO that isn't very bright thinking on Spence's part. There's a reason why the vast majority of fighters comeback on easier turf than this type fight. And a reason why those who ignore that plan lose a good percentage of the time. And his team isn't being very smart by not talking him down a notch. Blunt force trauma leaves permanent damage. And that isn't a statement that anyone can argue with if they have a basic knowledge of how things go with a person after a bad car wreck like this, or just getting clocked in the head with a blunt instrument. Why take a chance like this? If not in this fight, within a few fights we will see the damage that wreck caused. If not, then Spence will have dodged a bomb.
Be that as it may... wishing both fighters good health and wishing we fans a good fight.Comment

I dunno... that's a pretty big mistake Spence made there. And I believe even he admitted that if I'm not mistaken. He could've killed several people with that drunken boneheaded move. Even drunk, that shows extremely bad judgement. Can't take people's lives into your own hands. He was lucky to have not been killed, or to have killed innocents. It was a huge mistake. Hopefully he truly learned from it.Comment

People love mismatches because it allows their guy to look great and come here to brag about it.Comment
