Beaten nobody and looked painfully average against an absolutely washed Gamboa. I just don’t see what the hype is about.Comment

How can someone who beat a 10 year veteran unified champ and a 5 year WBC champ (twice) be considered overrated??? I dont even really like Fury but this is just utter madness. And then you go on to hype up a guy who genuinely is insanely overhyped on mere media saturation alone.HANDS DOWN its Tyson Fury.....this guy has tried to talk himself into legendary status for several years now on the strength of beating an unprepared Klitschko while he was on PED's in what many consider the most boring heavyweight title fight in HISTORY LOL.......he goes on to beat the next biggest hype job in Wilder to try and solidify these nonsensical claims. This guy has been tested by a number of bartenders and yet very few of his extremely dumb fan base seems to realize he's a dud.
If he really has the balls to get in there with Anthony Joshua (which I will be SHOCKED if he does step in) he's gonna be beaten like the dumb redheaded step child that he is and everyone is gonna see he was NEVER on a world class level in terms of skills.
Tyson Fury is one of the biggest hype jobs in boxing history....I can spot em from a mile away. Great talker but a serious hype job.Comment

He's headlining PPVs because he's exciting, not because he's perceived at this transcendent talent like Loma. And he does deliver. As long as he continues doing this and defend his title, he deserves every single bit of "hype" that he gets as an entertaining fighter. I also don't want to hear about top 5s when a Loma top 5 clearly means more to you than a Davis top 5 or of small fighters when one of those top 5 wins is Rigondeaux.he's headlining ppvs. his resume is completely barren. he's delivered against the bums and small fighters they match him with yes while loma has fought 5 top 5 guys in a row on top of his resume at 126 and 130. i dont see how loma can be hype just for losing. tank is hype for not fighting anyone and yet they are treating him like an a-side star on ppvs
Loma's record or career is not the problem. The problem is with the fanbase and media proping him up as a generational multi-divisional champ when he could very well be just another great amateur who unfortunately didn't have the tools to truly become a great.Comment

Loma is the biggest busted hypejob. Not even close. Lost 11-1 round to a kid who hadn't done crap all.Comment

All fighters fall in to this to some degree. Nobody can be perfect and fulfill the prophecies of their over zealous fans...hence, the cycle begins. I think Haney would be my choice, even though I believe he’s really good, he’s just a lot of “meh” in terms of competition.Comment
