Bobby Riggs, Wimbledon singles and doubles champ in 1938-and 39 played Margaret Court in 1973. He slaughtered her. (I saw that match at the time) She was the top woman for years, and still regarded as the best female tennis player ever. She won a record 64 grand slam titles including another record of 24 singles titles. She won all 4 grand slam titles (Wimbledon, French, Australian, US Open) when she was amateur, just like Rod Laver, and again in 1968 7 tears later, did the same thing, again just like Rod Laver, the only two in history to have done this. Her records still stand and never likely to be beaten. Nadal beat her 11 straight French open singles record of 11 consecutive titles with winning his twelfth..in 2019, 45 years after she retired. All during her record making career, she had 4 children, and lost a Wimbledon final because she was pregnant...... She won the Australian Open 11 consecutive times also.
Still I think that Tyson could have KO'd Jones except for the rules. He was very obviously pulling his punches. All the same, I think he needs a bit more time in the gym before facing Holyfield or any pro athlete, even Shields, although he'd KO he the first punch he landed seriously on her face or head. As soon as she came near him he'd kill her.
