People that have never received a punch in their lifes are under their mama's basement screaming quitters.
The young man should loose his eye ball because of what exactly? Was he in a titled fight?

Facts, I love boxing but the fans be goofy. It’s the most lethal sport in the states I’d wager. It’s not his fault promoters can’t put on quality cards. He shouldn’t have to risk his career because there aren’t any other quality fights on. The man wasn’t scared. He was fighting up to the moment he thought it was too risky. People get on these guys for ducking. Then a 23 year old fights somebody and they get dogged on. I don’t understand people. Be mad at the promoters.

AJ quit and then won his belts back.
Theres a huge differencce between a quitter and a coward. Dubois did the right thing and hopefully he follows Joshuas example.
Lets face it, non of this is anywhere near as bad as making up cowardly excuses as to why you lost!
        DDD's excuse is real!

When AJ “Quit” I don’t think he knew where he was nevermind what day it was!

It's ridiculous that people are expecting fighters to get in there and lose an eye to win a fight or to entertain them. I'm all for fighters going all out to win, but i would stop any fight at the first definitive sign that long term damage is being inflicted on a fighter. Until you broke your eye socket yourself, you won't understand why he had to stop.

I'm loving the comments bruh. Deontay refused to go out like a hoe, gets hate, but DDD is respected and commended for being a BIATCH!

It's a dangerous sport when everything is going great. There is no need to further risk the health of participants who are coming up short today cuz some 30lbs overweight dipsh^t on his couch who's not seen a real life girls ***** in 2yrs thinks it's cowardly.
                You're absolutely correct.

Dubois did the right thing for his career AND his personal well being. I thought AJ handled his defeat against Ruiz Jr. with a lot of character too. It's disgusting reading the boxing fans comments, crapping all over these guys. Being a pro boxer seems like a lose-lose situation, often. What a thankless audience they have to tolerate !

Agreed. It was the right call by Dubois obviously. It more than likely saved his career or I hope it did. These mfers calling him a quitter and a coward would have laid down the first time Joyce landed one of those jabs on them.

At least DDD quit with a serious eye injury.

AJ quit against Ruiz and he wasn't even injured.
