I'm always surprised, still, at how upset people get over a loss or two from 'their guy'. Most 'fans' have so much of their self-worth tied up in their guy succeeding, and the other guy failing, that it really really hits them hard when their guy loses and the other guy wins.

I wish people had to post their picture to post on this site. I think a few of us on here would get an absolute kick out of what some people who post here, of all backgrounds, look like in real life.

It's not hard to imagine though what they look like - their posts give them away. They are the 'others' in life, who hate themselves and their lives, and desperately need to get validation from the successes, or perceived successes, of those who look somewhat like them.
