Does changing trainers make your chin better? Cause going from bread to sugar is a mistake. He’s not a kronk fighter and he doesn’t have the chin to be one. Good luck to him tho

Williams just needs to stop trying to walk everyone down. He takes too many mid ranged chances and they are not part of the training program.
He simply doesn’t have the chin to be in those brutal exchanges he seems to enjoy getting into early. If they go your way cool but if not it was your gamble can’t blame everyone else.

Only time will tell if it was the trainer or merely the chin. Maybe he should go for the Rosario rematch first. I'm thinking it's a clash of egos with a trainer who thinks he knows it all training a fighter who thinks he knows it all.Last edited by BlackR0bbb; 12-01-2020, 02:51 PM.

Avoided the rematch (something Hurd was criticized for by William’s trainer) and fired his trainer.
So easy to root for a guy like that!

Can’t train a chin to get stronger and Williams just can’t take a good punch. This was revealed when Charlo dropped him and had him on rubber legs off a jab. Khan did the same thing. Every time he got kod, he blamed his trainer and got a new one. I guess it’s easier to blame the trainer than to admit you have a physical flaw such as a jaw made of crystal.
