Yea, but just like Salido, they don't want any of the rematch.

actually the pre-fight and teo's record plays a big role. he is well-known as a knockout puncher. loma is very cautious with that. being that in mind, makes him worried he might get caught. he couldn't be careless or else it's gonna be a short night for him. i think he overestimated teo's power.

          I agree with this.

          Loma started way too late.

          Teo did good work though

True. Salido turned down 720K for the Loma rematch. I think that there is still a possibility and Lopez may take a Loma rematch but how many months will it take before Loma climbs out of his hole and announces his intentions - is what I want to know.

Loma lost due to inactivity in 1-7. Yeah Lopez wasn’t landing clean, but he was pushing the pace and throwing the punches. Loma was just backing away. The few combos he did throw were indeed clean, but that was not enough. Loma had to start in the 4th or 5th round, not the 8th. He waited too long, and lost on points.

i think youre somewhat right....i think sometimes guys go in weary of guys with certain reps...i think canelo def did that in the first golovkin fight then realized it wasnt all that and fought differently in the 2nd fight

conversely....fury tasted wilders power and realized it was real and thus decided it wasnt wise to let wilder get off...that it would be smart to go right at wilder and fury told us he was gonna do that

i think teos pop is still real....if it lands right...its not all that easy to land a good, flush, true power shot on loma...especially a cautious loma who is leery of getting hit with a big one

I think Canelo at some point late in the first fight realized that the guys GGG was knocking out, that Canelo was better than them in many ways and that in fight 2, he could brace for, take, and slip GGG's power and proved that in the second fight. I am one of those who clearly saw Canelo win that second fight and Canelo stood in the pocket quite often and won those exchanges. It was a virtuoso performance by Canelo.

im completely on board with that take...i thought canelo won 2nd fight convincingly and it was the kind of fight golovkin asked for

i couldnt pinpoint when and where it happened but i really felt like after the first fight canelo just didnt think there was anything golovkin had for him that scared him....he def went into the first fight cautious
