If you quit because the other guys punches are hurting and the fight isn't going the way you wanted then that's a whole different thing but he quit because of a very specific injury to his eye. If you fear that badly for your vision then you need to get out of the ring and to hospital. I don't watch boxing to see 23 year old men lose their eyesight.
