I have often said that Tyson was always able to go to 12 round fights because early in his career he had gone 12 round with Tony Tucker, Razor Ruddock and James "bonecrusher" Smith. He also had a few 8 and 10 round fights. As he aged and was on drugs, he no longer could go 12 rounds because he wasn't training at all. Now at 54 years old, drug free with the exception of weed and training regularly he can go for 8 to 10 rounds. I am glad he got back in shape and accomplished his goal of losing 100 lbs. If anything, I don't think he should try to do this anymore. And if he does, they should max out at 5 round fights with guys over 50 years old.

Garcia/Spence isn’t some grade A stellar match up, it’s just a decent fight. Spence is coming off a lucky split decision from Porter, and an accident we don’t know the extent of yet (though it looks doubtful it will have a major impact given there’s no tune up fight), and Garcia has looked average for quite a while now. It’s the PBC equivalent of Top Rank recycling
      Spence vs Swift counts.
