Nah , different styles actually. Wlad evaded shots,Joyce absorbs them . Both great in different ways .

Wlad had some early KO losses but when he hooked up with Steward as his trainer he earned greatness with a very long title reign beating every worthy challenger for many years. Joyce is 35 and has only had 11 pro fights. His big wins are DDD and Jennings. He has not done nearly enough to be called great and he probably never will. He is way too slow and easy to hit to become a great fighter. Good, game and tough yes. Great,no.

But seriously, I am a huge fan of Joe Joyce. Love that he won and proved the doubters wrong. I think comparing him to either of the Klitschkos is unwarranted. Joyce is probably more like an Oliver McCall or a David Tua. Great fighter and tremendous chin, may very well score the upset against one of this generation’s elites. Not going to unify any belts though.
