I think he will get slightly better than tail off etc

What Tyson Fury did for 1-2 years, Mike Tyson did for 15 years.

You can see that he is damaged fighter, due to all the abuse 'Roy Jones was the healthier fighter'.

I do read that Mike Tyson still has a few bad lifestyle habits, so he is still not really helping himself.

Come on, man... You really think that last Saturday's was a real fight? It was staged.

Having said that, mine was just hyperbole of course. I always perceived Wilder as someone who will break if whacked to the body. Tyson Fury exposed him in that regard, already. Mike Tyson's body punch would disintegrate his ribs... provided that he managed to close the distance, of course. If anything, Iron Mike looked quick in there.

Tyson smokes abundant doses of weed. That alone diminishes reflexes. The alcohol and drug abuse he subjected himself to across decades has surely taken a heavy toll on him. Hell, he was sent to massacre against Lennox Lewis while he was addicted to Zoloft.

Notwithstanding, he appeared surprisingly quick in there, but it could be an impression given by the comparison with Jones Jr, who looked like an elderly. Sometimes a body responds differently to certain substances... Perhaps weed stimulates Tyson more than slowing him down, who knows.

He is still abusing himself so it seems, I did see a interview with Tyson where he stated he was no longer doing weed 'And this was during the build up to this fight'.

Roy Jones is the healthier fighter, Mike Tyson's talent and technique which has been interwoven into his DNA is the reason why he performed so well etc

Mike Tyson can ether improve from this point, or degrade 'Depending on what he does with his lifestyle and training'.

Actually, if you read about his history he has declared many times that he was high on something even before certain fights that he won (vs Savarese, for example).

He's definitely a very strong physical specimen, but for sure there is a limit to substance abuse before the body self-destroys. Not to mention the innumerable medicaments he had to take while he was an alcoholic. All of this affects a brain mercilessly.

Good job that Mike was stoned going into the fight, Roy mightve been killed.

                  Obviously staged
I just wanted to clarify how Mike nor any of these geezers would do jack vs these young HWs. Maybe they can beat guys like Chisora ????

Both guys would have died if the rds were 3 mins.

Far cry from destroying any of these young HWs.

You will be hard pressed to find a bigger fan of Roy here than me but It became obvious Mike wasnt really trying to take Roy out once Roy gassed.

As far as Mike competing with the young guys now there isnt a chance in hell.
