Shawn Porter: Ugas wasn't robbed, good fighter but one-dimensional, never adjusted

Confirms what I said - Porter tried to be like Floyd and let it go WAY too close. He wasn't the linebacker at any point - and in this video he's saying that he chose not to because he expected Ugas to prepare for the linebacker.

Which is crazy that Ugas performed as well as he did even with a different strategy, because like I said, I had Ugas winning a very close fight.

I had Ugas winning too, but in fairness Porter didn't prepare or fight like he did in the Spence fight. I would like to see that prepared Porter re-fight Ugas.

That's not Ugas fault though, and I thought he should have won on that night.

      I thought Ugas won

I think Porter just struggled to get to grips with him that night, it can happen. Maybe just a bad style or underestimated him.

Not even. Porter CHOSE to box, he even did some shoulder rolls. There was no hint of the Linebacker at any point of that fight.

Porter fought Ugas way different. And again kudos to Ugas for, despite that change up, still managing to perform that well.

If Porter had fought 'Man Bun' Formella like he fought Ugas, Formella would have gone to a closer decision.

I thought Ugas edged Shawn but I won't scream Robbery because it was a close fight and was Scored a Split Decision

Ugas is another tough fight at 147, he would give Thurman, Spence Jr, Crawford, Gacia and all of them tough fights IMO

I'm a fan of both guys by I thought Ugas edged it.

Porter should give him a rematch.

No only did Ugas win he also scored a knockdown that they didn't count. I tire of Porter. The only thing stopping him from getting embarrassed by Crawford is his refusal to have the WBO announce him as mandatory with a fight deadline and purse bid date if they cant come to a financial agreement. He won't do that though.

Everyone saw Ugas winning. Porter just confirms what everone knows is that a boxer/everyone will lie and commit to the lie if it benefits him/them.

That was the fight where Porter was over the weight limit, and then had to go work out for an hour. He was still over the limit, so then he had to cut his hair and got on the scale naked to make weight.

He did train or fight with enough respect for Ugas. I'd like to see Ugas vs Crawford.
