I get it, he " beat the man that beat the man", meaning Jeff Horn (Crawford's words).

Then he beat a C-level named Kavaliauskas (BoMac's words).

Then he beat a "wounded duck" in Kell Brook (BoMac's words).

Then he refused to fight Porter (Arum's words).

    What'd I miss?

Surely you don't mean Indongo who just got blasted out, do you?

Virgil Ortiz would be a better opponent than anyone else on the resume even now.

Might even see Crawford experience a DuBWAH moment and take a knee late. Could you imagine? NSB would probably break.
The umpteenth alpha male wannabe of BS has spoken! Yeah I'll bet you would've shaken off a fractured orbital bone and nerve damage and come back for more right? Gimme a break.
BTW, there are just as many Crawford detractors as fans on here so I don't think it would cause that much of a shake up.

As much as I hate to admit it, I agree with you. People are still calling the kid a prospect because of his age and the limited amount of time he's been a pro but the advances he's made and the competition he has beaten makes him a contender whether people want to admit it or not. I don't see it happening, at least not next but if Crawford gets really desperate for an opponent and can't get the PBCers in the ring, this could be the most viable option. Good post Nacho.

I think that was just coked up Oscar crazy talk. I'll believe it when I see it but it would be sad for GGG, a relevant rated fighter to take on old Oscar. He has absolutely nothing to gain from beating a retired old HOFer.

I'm not a pro boxer, so the question doesn't matter.

            I'll say this.

I would never let another man pump a jab repeatedly into my face without doing something about it.

Even if it meant tossing a low blow like Crawford did to Khan when Khan was pumping the jab into his face. Whatever you have to do to stop the noise.

Regardless, the point remains that Ortiz would be a fantastic test.

So you'll give Crawford credit when he splatters this kid? or will you say he was green?

First of all, let's quantify what you're suggesting like this.

If Crawford accepts the fight, he'll get credit from me.

If Crawford steps in that ring without having fabricated a hand injury or some other way to artificially delay fight camps, he'll get credit from me.

If BoMac doesn't trash Ortiz on some interview, Crawford will get credit from me.

If the ref is someone like Kenny Bayless, who won't go for too much nonsense and isn't likely to trigger stoppage, Crawford will get credit from me.

If Crawford beats Ortiz clearly and cleanly, he will get credit from me.

Basically, I want Crawford to go out there and win without any advantages. Then he'll get credit.

so you're just fishing for any excuse to not give him credit then.. got it lol.

Ortiz is green and would get flatlined by Crawford. Oscar might be a cokehead but he aint ******.

                  • Oscar should wait Crawford about to be a free agent in the fall of 2021 , Bring him to GBP they both guys are on your roster

Crawford is one of the best fighters on the planet. Two things can be true at the same time.
