Joyce would be the second best guy Wilder ever fought.

I think Wilder is one person I wouldn’t bet against with Joyce. He has enough power to put Joyce away and he’s fast enough to let those 1-2s go over and over.

        Bones would be broken here.

Can imagine Wilder lighting him up for a fair few rounds probably putting him down and nearly succeeding in removing JJ's chin and looking sensational.

Then somehow you notice in round 5 that Wilder looks like Sloth from the Goonies and is breathing out of his arse and has his boxing life is flashing before him and JJ has that same blank stare and is barely breathing. Club, club, club.
You should exclusively write for Joyce's realist fan club. Just killing it today!

He's my guy but I'd be the anti hype man.

It all comes from a good place. I love heavyweights and Joyce. I just enjoy that Joyce is a fighter who so spectacularly fails the eye test but in reality he's a big scary bastard with an iron chin and the best gas tank in the division. I've said it since he turned pro it will become hard in there for anyone. He's an elite amateur who have fought all kinds of styles and sparred and competed in the elite GB squad for years and sparred or fought a lot of his potential future opponents at the top of the division.

I don't doubt outside probably Fury all his fights look like last nights because his f.uckin Olympic run looked like that even over the sprint distance. Even with Fury I'm sure Joyce will have sparred him an awful lot as well and had success.

          He's just incredibly battle hardened.

Wilder would be a great one because common sense says surely Wilder at least puts him over at least once early in the fight.

But we also know if he can't get him out. Club, club, club. Eyes closing, soft tissue swelling, breath coming harder to come by. Probably 5 odd rounds to negotiate. Corner wont pull you out. Joyce ready to go another 10, leaning on him and walking him back. Leg are getting weak. Lactic acid running riot in his body, probably two badly bruised hands by now. F.uck that.

          Wilder doesn't need that, lol.

This would be a great fight, I think that Wilder might be the only guy with a shot to KO Joyce.

I enjoy clowning on Deontay but I hope he sticks around and fights some of these guys.

He stayed in the Olympic squad for too long as he wanted a Gold and should have had one IMO.
He is the fittest 18.5st man on the planet, he has one gear but he can go all night.

Wilder will fight from the outside and continue fighting at range. His athletic ability means he comes in very fast with the right hand that lands like a bomb and Joyce is too slow to move out. Wilder is exposed when he is committed with his right hand and misses. He is completely off balance and fully exposed to be taken advantage of. But is Joyce fast enough to hit Wilder before he regains balance and moves out? I am not sure.

I would favor Wilder to win because of the style I just mentioned.
I totally disagree, Wilder has next to no boxing skill what so ever. He isn’t out boxing Joyce, altho Joyce has slow hands his movement is top notch.

What I could see happening is Wilder trying to box him for a round or two then rushing in like he did with Brazeal and going for the KO. Even if he didn’t put him down he could probably get a stoppage as Joyce is slow to react and with the right ref it would be waved off.

Or, Wilder’s ego is totally shot, he try’s to box him, sees nothing he throws actualy makes a dent, Joyce foot movement and constant coming forward ends his career.

What Joyce could do to Wilder is worse than what Wilder could do to Wilder.

Wilder knocks him out or gets clubbed half to death.

joyce just walks him straight down, i hope the myth of him being some walking punchbag has gone now. he gets clipped but he rides the shots, dubois is a much better combo puncher than bum squad too. that jab would completely stop bum squad in his tracks

I think Wilder is potentially the only guy with enough power to make Joyce pay for being so hittable. If Joyce just shrugs it off like he does with everyone else Wilder would be absolutely ****ed though.
