Usyk is getting hit more often, but he hasn't given me a reason to worry about his punch resistance yet. Joyce can punch, but the predictable trajectory and impact of his punches leads me to believe that he won't be one-punching Usyk. I side with Usyk's speed, movement, combo punching to edge it out.

In a 12 round championship fight I'd have to favor Joyce early to mid, and still dangerous late due to his persistent style. Chisora's power and pressure was giving Usyk problems early and despite the fact that Joyce wouldn't be coming out as hot but with a more sustained methodical pressure I could see him breaking Usyk down for a mid/late stoppage or just catching him early while he's "downloading" Joyce's 56k dial up modem punches... with better foot movement and a better job of cutting off the ring than Chisora, I think he stands a good chance but still possibly could get out-boxed in a play it safe style performance. 55/45 fight favoring Joyce?
I don't know... I'm super ****faced and not a handicapper obviously, usually losing my bets but today was a good day!Comment

It's an interesting one, I'd be interested in seeing it.
Due to Joyce's chin and Usyk's (lack of?) power at HW, I feel the only way Usyk would win is via a decision. I think he could pull that off though.
He has a better selection of punches to keep Joyce at bay and off balance than Dubios did. Joyce would just keep coming all 12 rounds though with pressure.
I wouldn't mind seeing it.Comment

Not so long ago the so-called "forum experts" claimed that Usyk is the best and most likely will get all the belts in HW; it was enough for Joyce to win one single fight against a young guy who has no heart and courage and suddenly Joyce is better than Usyk.Comment

Joyce is more of an effective heavyweight. Had the win last night be 12 rounds he would’ve lost .
He won in ten so that doesn’t make sense.Last edited by REDEEMER; 11-29-2020, 09:48 PM.Comment
