Joyce vs Ortiz will be good for Joyce ranking. I also want to watch that one. Boxing is a physical sport so sometimes boxers do get seriously hurt and they know this well.

DD was fighting cans and bums.

Joyce is the same type of level as Hughie Fury...Not world class or anywhere near.
DDD’s career so far seems to have similarities with Deontay Wilder’s. Some fans get carried away when they see a boxer destroy a guy in the ring, even where that guy has been put in there specifically to be destroyed. Those same fans end up being surprised when the destroyer is taken apart by someone with some boxing fundamentals.

I suspected Joyce was going to upset the hype train. He’s a much tougher proposition than he looks and DDD wasn’t learning anything in his fights. He was too busy building a highlight reel against a succession of no-hopers. The same problem Wilder had.

Unless you see guys step up there’s just no way to know if they’re going to deal with pressure. DDD unravelled just like DW when he took a step up.

Plus a cracked orbital bone and nerve damage. Had he continued bye bye career.

Good scrap from the moment it started. Congratulations to Joyce. He put on a good performance and didn’t sustain much damage.

Everybody needs to just PUMP THE BRAKES when declaring Joyce as a contender.....JOYCE IS NOT A WORLD CLASS HEAVYWEIGHT!...LOL...its crazy I even gotta say this. Daniel Dubois was simply a HYPE JOB...hype jobs come and they go just as quickly. Both of them get absolutely annihilated by AJ..fury...and even wilder.
