Which is strange because that being Jacobs last fight on his Matchroom contract I figured he'd try to impress.
Instead he looked uninterested just pumping out a few jabs , occasional right hands , clinch and repeat.

With that performance I doubt any promoters are taking a serious look at Jacobs as anything other than a good name on a resume for one of their fighters.
And they paid him over $10 million. Them days are over. Be lucky to get $1 million now. Especially admitting he just spared...

Yeah it was very close, I was kind of dissapointed too when I first heard them announce Gabe win and then say um no we meant Jacobs.

But without scoring rounds, I thought a draw was fitting, so when it was a SD by 1 round then thats not a robbery.

Gabe really didnt do much either, he performed way better than anyone expected but I still didnt see him willing to take enough risk to definitively win the rounds and the fight.

This fight was boring as all hell, it reminded me of the old hopkins middleweight fights.

He did way better than expected so yeah I wanted to see an underdog win too but he still left all these rounds ambiguous and didnt do much either.

True.... Fights like this show a fighters place in the boxing world.

            Gabe a journeyman
And Jacobs a fickle contender. Never know if it will be GGG Jacobs or Boring Canelo Jacobs

besides the fluke 1 round ko of quillin jacobs has always fought scared and never took risks, some people even confused this for good boxing like against ggg where ggg clearly was landing the better punchs but jacobs was moving around not taking any risks and people thougth that was winning because they hate ggg lol

Robbery is a bit strong. Rosado got slightly jobbed by the bigger name. Or at least I'm pretty sure that happened. I kept waking up when they make the 10 second clack noises at the end of each, boring ****fest of a round.

Yeah, it is what it is, Jacobs is just not that good as some fans expect him to be. GGG and Canelo both beat him. He had a very close fight with Derevyanchenko.

To be honest, I don`t see him winning any real belt.

No robbery, but I had Gabe winning too.

There were so many close rounds that it could have legitimately gone any way on the cards.

For Gabe that was a positive. But for Jacobs it was madness to leave it so clearly in the judges' hands. In that sense, he doesn't deserve to get away with that.
