I was trying to get in-n-out to come to Tokyo...

The woman who owns it all said, nope, if we can’t control the quality, etc. not interested at all.

I would really go for a 4x4 animal style.

LA has a lot of good food.

I can see Or imagine Ruiz eating a lot of burgers and fries, and a about 20 snickers bars for a snack!

He’s got bigger titays than many Japanese girls.

I think Andy lost motivation because he dominated and beat down AJ so easily and severely.

The beating he dished out was perfect. Never before has a champ quit in the ring before. And been so spectacularly picked apart

Lost control? If you had control of Andy before he went completely off the rails you were still doing a pyss poor job. Andy needs a knowledgeable team that includes a nutritionist. Andy has probably the best chin in boxing and among the quickest hands in the division. It would be a shame if he doesn't have at least a few more meaningful fights in his career but he’s got to do the work.

Robles needs to get over it and move on. He sounds like a scorned ex-girlfriend now. It's getting pathetic. He's a good trainer, but the Andy Ruiz chapter is over. Let it go, amigo.

I agree. I don't even think Wilder could hurt him. He has one of those David Tua chins.

A little bit off topic here, but that guy on the fight show with Teddy Atlas takes a little bit of credit for getting andy in fight mode. Kevin was sitting ring side and he saw Andy looking flat and dry. Kevin said all of a sudden Andy! Start moving around, be active. He swears that Ruiz heard him shouting those instructions. This made Andy Ruiz warmed up and he had the advantage on AJ during the first fight . Just a thought lol

I do have to say, the timing of the fight was in no way to favor Andy from a circumstance point of view. The dude like wins the belts overnight, goes balls to wall celebrating like crazy with the new found fame and "friends", and then has a to redo it a few months later. There was no way he was back in the gym training like he was prior to that moment when nobody knew who tf he was.

Let's not forget he probably was booked weekly on different talk shows to talk about how he was able to blast out the Adonis specimen while he looked like the Pillsbury dough boy. It was really all a recipe for him to in no way redo the same performance a few months later.

With me giving him the benefit of the doubt, he's gotta get back to it again. It's like he's back to square 1 with that loss.
The rematch was 6 months later. Not 6 weeks. Andy knows what he signed with the contract so it's not like it came out of the blue. Do you expect AJ to hang around waiting for this idiot to celebrate for a year or something and stay out of the ring himself in all that time?

AJ never stayed out of the ring for every belt he won and celebrated. He's a professional. It's not his fault Andy is poorly disciplined and obese. This is the long game, not a sprint. It's been the same for over a hundred years. Maybe that message hasn't reached Andy yet either.

He quickly lost his discipline, focus, mind and ultimately the heavyweight title. He could've retained the title against Joshua, and probably made another successful defense, or two. If he had just had some respect for the title he had just won. He wouldn't have been a long reining champion, but he could've won 2, or 3 more fights. He would've had to be at the top of his game, as it turned out he wasn't, and it wound up costing him Big Time. Now instead of him being the toast of the town, he's the roast of the town. Worst than that I don't think that he'll ever win the heavyweight title of the world again. It wasn't Manny Robles fault that Andy Garcia literally went hog wild. When somebody that young, that immature comes into instant fame, and money, you can't tell them anything. They're the king now, they most know everything, that said they must self implode. That's exactly what happened to Andy Garcia, and not Reynoso, or anyone else can help make him champion again.
No matter what shape Andy came in, he wasn't leaving with those titles. AJ made a mistake with trying to take him out after dropping him and paid the price. He wasn't making that mistake again. AJ would have dominated like he did.

It's not like Andy moved faster on his feet beforehand either so he did all he could. It wasn't close to being enough. AJ got back what was rightfully his.
