In the rematch he came with a different approach and that’s when he starting using his jab which has made him a better fighter. Hard to come in on Benevidez and once he get his second wind he comes at you and just drowns you.

how would canela win this fight? he has zero shot on the outside. Benevidez has one of the best jabs in the sports hands down. it's long, and he uses it almost as a straight left hand. its extremely powerful. and he just pumps it out and then comes in with 4 punch combos to the head.

canelas only shot is in the inside and if you think he can go exchange with david he would be mistaken because david is a legit big man 6'2 walks around 180+. he hits harder.

Canela also has a questionable gas tank and doesn't fight the entire rounds.

David Benevidez - better jab. Longer. More powerful. DB will fight the range and he whips that jab like a piston. He stands at almost 6'2. with a 77 inch reach. Canela is a 5'8 with a 70 inch reach. David is a legit BIG MAN 6'2 walks round over 180 easily.

More power - DB has way more power in his punches then Canela.

Better combinations - David throws the best combinations in the sport today. 5-6 punch combos. Body and head.

It’s funny how no reports or video have Reynoso or Canelo ever acknowledging the WBC belt or wanting to fight Yildirim. That doesn’t even make sense considering he chose Smith whose more dangerous and isn’t for a vacant. It simply means that Boxingscene tried to help with the PBC propaganda in getting Canelo to fight a Haymon fighter in Yildirim and possibly collect the title fight sanctioning fee.
