Huh? Where did I claim he was a ducker? See my response to Split Decision.

I don't get why the post is so controversial. To put it in perspective I said the same thing when Floyd fought Berto.

It's the reality of the sport, especially given AJ already got upset by Ruiz. I think its common sense they aren't going to mess up that big payday.

When Ortiz was mando Joshua ducked him. The **** else am I meant to care about? Ortiz went to Hearn, tried to play ball, tried to let Eddie handle his career too. Joshua ducked, Hearn ****ed him over, Wilder picked up the slack.

Conversely Pulev's doesn't talk about being ducked because who the **** makes or has made up excuses to not fight Kubrat Pulev?

Whether you believe Ortiz has a hard time getting opponents or not is kinda irrelevant when Ortiz at least has press releases from other teams giving their reasons to not fight him. Doesn't matter if you consider that a duck or good reason, they exist. Kubrat has never had a team give any reason to not fight him because ain't no one worried about Pulev's ass, duh.

Ortiz has an eye pleasing style and gets Ko's, Pulev just seems kind of boring in comparrison.

It doesn't have anything to do with ability but people rate Ortiz because he gets nice looking Ko's over overmatched opponents.

I think he sort of has to though with Pulev being IBF mandatory I belive

I don't rate Pulev very highly especially these days but I think he's probably around Povetkin level, I won't be stunned if he does beat AJ. I do think the corona switch has helped AJ though, his loss to Ruiz was ages ago now and he should have recovered mentally by now.

Actually you forgot that Whyte & Pulev were supposed to fight in an IBF Final eliminator. Hearn lost the purse bid & then Whyte refused to go to Bulgaria. Hughie Fury stepped in instead. Not calling Whyte a duck because he has fought a lot of good HWs but he did side step this fight with Pulev. To be fair I believe Whyte was also offered a direct shot at Joshua & declined that rematch for whatever reason.

No bud, that's plenty fair. He has Dillian Whyte. That's only one man.
