Why should Bud and Arum do Porter and Haymon by giving B side Porter the shot and the big payday when Spence is the top priority?

Why would Bud and Arum give Haymon the chance to rig the judges and steal the fight from Bud?

Porter is a B side pawn and deserves a shot only after that protected fraud coward Spence steps up to the plate.

That, if given the pick, Crawford's choice for next fight would be Pacquiao, is telling.

i dont have any ill will towards bud.....

but its easy to call out the top names when you know your promoter isnt going to even try to make a fight with any of them and that those guys all have a bunch of good matchups they can make in house so they likely wont even talk about you...

Neither Brook or Khan fought under TR when Bud fought them.

Bud offered a career high payday to Danny Garcia to headline a PPV yet Danny opted to fight Granados for $1m flat...passing up at least $3m in doing so.

Bud and Top Rank cant force PBC fighters to sign and fight...

Bud doesn't seem too smart. How hard it it to say every time he gets interviewed "PBC champs are gutless". It really is part of the job. Arum isn't getting him the fights.

A few fantasy fights for me would be Eddie Booker vs. Charley Burley, Errol Spence vs. Crawford, James Toney vs. Mike Tyson

danny didnt opt for anything..he was told what to do by someone very powerful and someone who has made danny rich....

the proof was 100 percent in the pudding when shawn porters father told team crawford to call him and that they had a blessing to make a fight and crawford shot that down within a week on camera....all after him and arum saying they were targeting porter

of course brook and arum werent with TR....they have to find someone noteworthy because they dont have names in their own stable for bud to fight...but neither khan or brook were with a rival US company

we saw arum at work with pac....he held out and held out as long as he could before cashing him out against floyd....

bob arum cant afford danny...he cant afford thurman...or afford porter and still make a profit....danny will make more against spence than anything he was "offered" to fight crawford....

This here, is exhibit A, for why Terence Crawford needs to go:

TOP RANK WANTED TERENCE CRAWFORD-DANNY GARCIA PAY-PER-VIEW FIGHT IN MARCH 2019

Both duBoef and Top Rank vice president Carl Moretti recounted to The Ring on Tuesday the details of an offer delivered to Angel Garcia for his son, Danny Garcia, to meet Crawford (34-0, 25 knockouts) in a welterweight title fight on that same date.

The offer, presented by Moretti during a phone call with Angel: $3 million guaranteed plus upside of the pay-per-view revenue. The plan was for Crawford-Garcia to headline Top Rank’s first PPV show on ESPN. Of course, Garcia is aligned with PBC, meaning he fights exclusively on Showtime/FOX.

“It was a totally professional discussion,” Moretti recalled. “He said he would discuss it with Danny. Never heard back. I appreciate him taking the call. I think that door is always open. Absolutely...”

duBoef and Moretti say the offer was made directly to Angel rather than Al Haymon to ensure the fighter received information about the opportunity. Top Rank chairman and Haymon haven’t done business with each other in years, so they claim there was fear Haymon wouldn’t present such an offer to his fighter.

“I don’t know who to present to with these guys,” duBoef argued. “They say they’re the promoter, they’re not the promoters. They say they’re the agents, they’re not the agents.”

If Angel told Moretti they wanted to discuss the fight further, duBoef says, at that point Top Rank would have reached out to Haymon to try and hammer out the deal. “I just want to make sure these guys get the offer,” he said.

“They know who represents these guys. We’re a management company, we’ve always been a management company,” Tim Smith, vice president of communications for PBC, told The Ring. “Phone numbers haven’t changed...”

Top Rank has few viable options for Crawford at 147 pounds, a weight division where Haymon is rich with talent. Besides Thurman, Porter and Garcia, there’s Broner, Errol Spence Jr., Mikey Garcia and Manny Pacquiao, who signed with Haymon last month.

So it behooves Top Rank to work with Haymon. Crawford is 31, but he’s yet to be party to a marquee fight (he’s coming off a 12th-round KO of Jose Benavidez last month.) A big reason for that: the lack of talent at both lightweight and junior welterweight at the time he reigned over those divisions. Now that he’s a titleholder at 147 pounds, there’s a myriad of compelling matchups to be made.

They damn well knew/know who to call! Everyone on here knows "who to call!" His name is Al Haymon! They do this, and then tell Bud, we made an offer, and never heard back! Same ****** tactics (fake contracts, scared of needles, etc.) that lost them Manny Pacquiao! Bud, the writing is on the wall: BOUNCE!

I just read an article where Porter acknowledged that he had the "green light" from Al to make that fight happen! He also recently said he wants the winner of Spence-Garcia, but he's still interested in fighting Crawford too! They need to make that happen if Pacquiao goes a different route!
