Why would that mean Plant didn't want the Canelo smoke when literally part of that deal would have been to have these two face off in May? As Jake Donavan mentioned and others, PBC wasn't going to put on two PPVs in a two week span. And December 19 is a no go already for networks with the college football conference championships and two NFL games. He would have ended up fighting a lower level guy like Dirrell or something probably on regular SHO.

Canelo made the correct decision to turn that down and instead go after Smith. He can fight Plant in May of 2021 if he doesn't take on GGG.

No, the loss would be on PBC and Haymon. Who exactly would be putting the PPV on? And then this PPV would impact Spence/DSG numbers and that would be another loss. Haymon would be the one on hook to paying Canelo and Plant.

they were dealing with al haymon according to plant and tried to make the fight, plant said that too, offers did not make it to plant since haymon didnt aprove, how is canelo the one avoiding then ??
