Who's ALL. You can name a handful beginning with Oscar and Mayweather whom he already made into loaded multi-millionaires. Mayweather walked away from a fight with Margarito, an offer of $8 mill. He wanted more. His next fight after Arum was for $8 mill and 1 cent. Arum also turned him down when he wanted $20 mill to fight Oscar. he was getting too big for his britches. Then a few more like Mikey Garcia. Do you have any idea how often boxers mover around between promoters, managers and trainers. Like a revolving door. most of the boxers that Arum signed stayed with him long term.

Hagler spent his hole career with Top Rank, just on a shake-hands with Arum. He told his wife who tried to get him to switch to Don King to keep out of his business or he'd stop making payments on her mother's house. He never left Arum. and many of his fighters were the same.

He has the best name in the business for taking young fighter and carefully building them up to championships.

Someone said he got wealthy from Promoting. He was wealthy long before he promoted his first fight, as a favour to a friend incidentally. It was a Muhammed Ali fight and he promoted 26 of them, including all the famous ones, so Ali trusted him and ended up very wealthy, mostly from boxing..

He and his already wealthy wife founded several international Charities. She has a full time occupation looking after them and he is the main contributor. He is VERY charitable. His under-the-radar behaviour towards Gennaro Hernandez and his family for many years shows this.

I support him because he's charitable and a top promoter, pays his guys very well. I'm against him because he's a strong ******** and I'm a Trump supporter. But we can't have everything.

I love Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford! That being said, they are not Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao! They are not Sugar Ray Leonard and Tommy Hearns! They are not Canelo Alvarez and GGG! Close...but no cigar! However, if Bob would release Crawford, Haymon would make that PPV in a heartbeat, even without ESPN!

Arum has a net worth of about 300 million he is near 90 years old he dont give a damn about Crawford or anyone else for that matter. Crawford rode the gravy train as long as possible now it's time to part ways and fight who we as the fans wanna see him fight. Right now is the time to buy out the contract he has left and jump into some mega fights. He has Spence and Pac both of which will be huge in comparison to the rest of his 147 resume.

Who will be willing to pay $10M for each fighter? Can be done if Bud or Spence accept a $1M payday just to get the belt and the worldwide recognition from Pacman?

Pacquiao had one the worst contracts in decades under Arum. This generation took more $$ control of careers respectfully.

Good point. If either beats Pac, they are the A side and will get biggest $$.
