Serious.
Floyd is now 43.
I know how I felt in my teens as an athlete in school vs. my later years when I was still athletic but not nearly as much. It's a significant shift.
Floyd works out still, but nowhere near as beast mode as he used to.
The guy is essentially retired - and making obscene money off of the brand he built over the years.
He's already won the titles he wanted, he's already beaten almost 30 world champions. He's done everything he ever wanted. Now he can just collect checks until it no longer matters.
So my question is this.
Logan Paul IS a pro boxer, and a decent one at that. He's had two fights, one a draw and one a loss by (obvious) robbery, both with KSI. He actually can sell fights and has a strong social media following.
Floyd at advanced age fighting him is actually a step UP from fighting McGregor, because McGregor had never boxed as a pro. It's just that Dana and UFC fans were bamboozled. It happens.
If Floyd at 43 called out Sugar Ray Leonard in his 50's, even that's not a cherry pick, because Leonard was so highly skilled it basically balances out.
The only other fight that even makes anywhere near sense is MAYBE...MAYBE Floyd vs. Cory Spinks. But even that's a stretch.
People on here demanding Floyd fight a current prime fighter. What for? He doesn't need to prove anything to them OR you. He's already proven it. They need to fight each other (which means accepting B-Side money instead of demanding 60% unearned).
So when you have a Terence Crawford who NSB and ESPN call #1P4P, best fighter in the world, ultra skilled, nobody can beat him, etc...and you match him with a version of Kell Brook that had both eye sockets broken by Golovkin and Spence respectively and against Zerafa had already looked a shell of his former self...how is that not a cherry pick?
I'm seriously wanting to know that answer.
