Grass roots boxing does need a leg up in these troubled times where people are losing their livelihoods and some their lives.Small promoters can not put club saving amatuer shows on at the moment , they do need help. For Eddie Hearns part ,this man is nothing but a silver spoon feed hypocrite who continues to pay himself and his cash greedy named fighters massive money and has the cheek to put on a fight that nobody wants to see for a hiked up fee of £25 , this idiot gives nothing back to boxing , if he thinks different then why doesn't he help with his many millions?

If the sport of boxing wasn't corrupted so much by bent promoter's & all the alphabelts perhaps boxing would have been recognised as an elite sport.

The government cannot trust the politics of the sport we love at any level & i can't blame them.

Support the tbrb. 1 name 1 face 1 title. Clean up our sport.

Why don’t you support it then Eddie?

Matchroom boxing could easily finance the various amateur competition.

Hearn doesn’t give a f*** about grassroots boxing cause there’s no money in it.

The government should look into that fixed fight between Lartey and Wardley.

I see no hypocrisy in this particular situation. Enlighten me or stop spewing baseless name calling. Many fans apply unrealistic expectations to boxers as well as promoters. I guess it could be because they don't have much insight into either.

He should not keep quiet, if anything, he and other promoters should have made a fuss about it before government made this elitist, privileged decision. Hearn is 100% right. And there are so many rich people loving horses in the UK, shouldn't they spare a few quid on their favorite entertainment? Where else would they wear those fancy hats?
