Why don't top heavies fight someone?

Wilder and Fury have not fought since February. AJ and Ruiz have not fought in almost a year but give AJ some credit he will fight in a few weeks. Ruiz is too new to the scene to judge his inactivity which problem seems to be that he is just too heavy to get into the ring at this time. I doubt Eddie Reynoso will be in his corner unless he gets it together. Fury has had problems in the past and seems to have fallen back into his shell. Wilder just talks a lot and doesn't want to fight anyone since Fury wasted him. How will fans remember these fighters in 20 years? Fury was a tall guy who did not attempt to clean up the division. Wilder who could hit hard but
talked himself up much better than he really was. AJ who won a pathetic rematch against a fighter that blew him out in the first fight so bad it made Eddie Hearn cry. Ruiz who didn't want to train after a courageous win as an overwhelming underdog.

Fury has been contractually bound and couldn't make any other arrangements. And now he can, he is.

AJ has a mandatory and he's fighting him.

    Usyk took a good fight.

So did Whyte. In fact he took two until his rematch got COVIDed.

Joyce and Dubois are ready to go at each other.

Ruiz has no excuse. He's just a waste of talent.

Wilder has been sitting in the shower with his legs crossed, crying, trying to wash the stench of defeat away.

i bet if you looked at the divisions theres more fights between top 10 guys in heavyweight than any other division. its hilarious, ever since wilder got embarrassed the division is now 'trash' apparantly. it was the best division in boxing when bum squad was looking good but now its weak division

It's a strange year. The top fighters demand alot of money and even though the promoters can't take gate receipts due to Covid restrictions the fighters expect to see their pay remain high, so the promoters would take a loss to make the fights.

That's why we seeing alot of stay busy fights or no fights, they are all hanging on until venues open back up to the Punters.
