How many times has a boxer lost his memory?

In pac- Mosley, sugar Shane claimed after the knockdown that he couldn't remember a couple rounds.

Earnie shavers was known to make guys forget rounds too...

One time Eric Harding, the ref asked him "are you ok?" He said "I'm from Philadelphia." Now lemme present the argument with that 1) he answered the wrong question 2) what he was trying to imply was "yes I'm tough because I come from Philadelphia."

Lol also one amateur guy told me he got knocked out in his card and he woke up later reading a fight brochure of the fight as he was walking around later, and he found his name on it lol.

Times fighters didn't forget: teofilmo, knew in his heart of hearts that he needed the 12th round. Versus lomo, good decision as he closed out the show and ...

Oscar when his corner told him to run... Well let's just say he lost the Trinidad fight!

Bradley said he was concussed after the 1st or 2nd round against that Russian fighter and that he didn't remember what happened the remainder of the fight. He was just fighting on sheer toughness and heart.

Also Mickey Ward claimed that Arturo Gatti put him down with a punch and then later he hit him and woke him back up with the punch in their second fight.

I feel you man, I heard his speech was all messed up too. Did you hear him during the Zepeda baranchuck fight? He was literally crying over what happened to baranchuck...

That fight likely took years off his life.

He was severely concussed after that fight, you could see it clearly.

Could hardly string a sentence together.

If his corner told him to run , it was not because they were sure he was that much ahead. He was absolutely gassed out by the end of the 8th round, and it only got worse. He was running like Tommy Hearns did from the middle of rd 2 against Hagler to the KO in the beginning of the 3rd. Oscar always had stamina problems late in fights. And Trinidad was pressuring him unmercifully, he couldn't catch a breather for the last 5 rounds. If I recall correctly, 2 judges gave Trinidad the last 5 an the 3rd judge gave him the last 4. I may be a little out, but it was a long time ago..

That's a good analogy or breakdown, I'm not going to argue. I agree 100%.

Yea the bradley fight comes to mind. He said he was forgetting things and slurring his speech for more than six months, that was crazy.
